why spen money overseas when we have some top english players that we can buy here.
the time for big money is over for the club and it time to start buying more english players soon we will have a englad team without any liverpool players in it .

because an english player will cost 5 times more and wont always be as good. english players are quite often priced out of the market
plus we have a lot of young english players coming through.
we could always buy beattie or phillips but why bother when they are not good enough? We cant narrow our options down just because of a nationality of someone, we should get the best player possible. if english, its all good, if hes nicaraguan i wouldnt care if he loved the shirt and played well

Fook's sake!! Another same post again.

The problem are English players can be greedy b@stards than foreigner players. And the English clubs too.

It is not very easy to get English players from different clubs, like Shaun Wright-Phillips, that I have been told Man City valued him £25millions. Which is bloody madness to pay those crazy price. And if English player want to leave for top club, he will ask for more money than he earn at his club now.

It is same as Shrek used to be earned about £15k a week at Everton before he went to Scum, now he earns about £80,000, that is bloody crazy to pay for those wages!!

Football is not Sport anymore, it is business now and money always ruined the game all the time.

did i mention that english players are overpriced?

for example, man city have just valued sean wright phillips at 25m. i mean the guy's good but come on. 25m? it's also the fault of the media building english players up over here. that puts their price through the roof as well.

Totally agree.Ignore the outside world completely and only buy Liverpool born players.A couple of years down the line we can dump the spanish manager and bring in a local born lad to manage the mighty reds.I want that statue of that geezer taken away as well,you know,the one outside the Kop.Whats he got to be waving his arms at,he`s bleedin scottish ffs :angry:

That Dalglish and Rush was ****** as well,two local lads could av done that job easy.Souness-overrated,Paisley-was he scouse?NO..so he was ****** as well.Liverpool fc would be twice the club if we`d only ever employed scousers :angry:

Can't get much quality for under £8-10 million nowdays.
