Id honestly play Frimpong over Salah at RW. Hes got electric pace and causes havoc. Salah cant beat his man anymore.

The sooner we have a viable alternative to Salah, the better. His legs are gone, defenders know they have him sown up. Fantastic servant all these years but he's finished methinks.

Il take that. Scoreline would suggest we where brilliant but not the case. We gave up a lot of chances that better opposition would have taken.

Salah is just looking pathetic at this stage. Can't beat a man, poor passing and erratic shooting. Its just sad that hes declined so much and doesnt warrant the minutes hes getting. Gakpo equally as useless imo.

Good game from Van Dijk and Konate at the back but disappointed we conceded 2. Szob again our best player. Always moving and covers some amount of ground. Etitike good but fizzled out quickly.

Delighted we are beating these bottom sides as what a difference these last 3 results have made. We can take 3rd if we keep this run going.

Great result at the end but feck me we didn't look like we had control in that game at all, even at 3 f*cking 0 the game didn't look over and West Ham had hope they could come back. It's a huge problem.

On the positive side, apart from the scoreline, very glad to have Frimpong back, his pace is causing teams all sorts of problems. I really hope he stays fit, we'll need him in the following period.

Thing is Salah has played 50 games for 8 consecutive seasons now and is going to be 34 soon. The style Klopp played really took its toll on these players, they had to press, they had to get back, they had to counter. I'm not knocking Salah at all hes been one of the greatest player this club has ever had... but hes washed, hes knacked, his agility has completely gone.

Ive been there myself. I played at a high level, got a bad ankle injury when I was 32, and I never recovered. I was a winger also, rapid, really agile.. but when I came back I couldn't turn sharp, I was falling over doing simple stuff.

Age is a major factor, and Salah simply can't play at this level anymore.

Another important 3 points, credit where it's due, two or three weeks ago we were in danger of being cast adrift and losing touch with the top teams but whatever happens today we'll only be 3 points from third.

Not pretty and the problems are there for everyone to see. We just have to keep fighting for a top four finish.

Yup another welcome 3 points keeps us right in the hunt. With Villa inconsistent I think few places maybe up for grabs.

With a 5-2 score you'd think we had turned yet another corner but we never looked like we had that game under control at anytime at all. Gakpo on the score sheet means he's now immune from the bench for 3 more seasons.

I may be in a very small minority but I have to admit I don't mind the set-pieces thing this season. I may sometimes say it's anti-football or whatever to discredit Arsenal and their Stoke City like approach, but tbh this is why this game is so good; set-pieces, high pressure, low block, fast build-up, possession based etc. all very different aspects and approaches to the game and this variety is a big reason why football is the best sport in the world.

Also set-pieces have always been a huge thing in football and especially English football, so I'm kinda glad they're making a small comeback. And the league is not worse for it IMO. Competition inside the league for the title might not be as great as other seasons but in Europe the EPL teams as a whole are having one of the better seasons in recent history, which is why we'll most likely again have the top 5 spots going to the CL instead of the usual 4.
