Liverpool Football Club - Games

Goes without saying that a win is needed here which will be a tough task considering their home form. Problem for us is RB as Szobozlai is suspended and Gomez still not back training. Dont think the lineup will change much from recent games.

                                Ali.

Jones.         Konate.      Virg.       Kerkhez.

                       Macca      Grav.

        Salah.                Wirtz.          Gakpo

                             Etitike.

Think he will go with Jones ahead of Endo if Gomez not ready. Ideally id like to see Robbo at LB and Kerkhez LW instead of Gakpo.

Think we will win this one myself  :buttrock

Looks like the honeymoon period with new managers might be over for our rivals, both Chelsea and Man U dropped points in winnable games. However, for that to even matter we must start winning games more often ourselves.

Sunderland is a tricky place to go to this season, they actually have zero defeats at home. And considering the amount of players we're missing, our form, Slot's tacticts, Salah and Gakpo as starters etc. realistically I hope but I don't expect a win here.

Must win this one if we want to keep up with the others. Hopefully Ekitike and Wirtz will shine and lead us to 3 points.

Team to play Sunderland: Alisson, Endo, Van Dijk, Konate, Robertson, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Wirtz, Gakpo, Salah, Ektike

Salah and Gakpo have become undroppable for no fathomable reason...if only for the X factor start Rio or Chiesa...with Salah and Gakpo there is no need to even worry too much for Sunderland

I honestly think we'll see the best of Florian Wirtz tonight with Szoboszlai not playing. I've been saying for weeks that hes one of the main culprits of slowing our game down too much taking too many touches. Im hoping we see quick 1 touch football tonight.

Endo at RB is not gonna work IMO, he's far too slow. Read somewhere that Jones had a falling out with Slot for openly questioning his tactics infront of everyone after the Bournemouth match. Considering how little has Jones played since and Endo being preferred over him there may be some truth to that rumour.

Heard that myself. This is only Endo's 2nd start in the league under Slot as well so no way does he trust him. Might just prove that Jones rumour.

Gakpo? Honestly.. How's he messed that up? Easy ball to Wirtz.

Hes playing awful at the minute.

I think we have the edge slightly in this. Can see us scoring early in the 2nd if we keep this up

Haven't played too badly in the first half but we need to score, probably more than one to win it.

Gakpo surprisingly had some good moments. Salah still sh1t though.
