Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby 7_Kewell » Fri Dec 28, 2018 1:00 am

His contract is up in the summer and he'll be going back to Spain on a free.

He'll get a few more cameos, but his time is up at LFC

Moreno complaining! He is a liability defensively and should be offloaded. He came back into the team and started making stupid mistakes/rash challenges and we have not seen him again. Big reason we concede little now is he is no where near the team. Ill never forget how he single handedly gave Sevilla two goals and the Europa Cup and he has not improved since. I’d rather Clyne or Milner or even Fabinho at LB. A rash and reckless defender is not good!

I “not feel good” when you play Alberto

The interview was given to a Spanish radio station from what I can tell. And everything that has appeared in the English press looks like a Google translate job to me. I refuse to the click on the DM artcile you posted but below I have provided some quotes from the Goal article which was the first one that picked up the interview with the Spanish radio station. I'm guessing some of those sentences such as "I disliked the way that Klopp treated me" haven't been translated exactly how they were meant in Spanish.

"I didn't feel [the decision to stick with Robertson] well, I was injured giving my best for our team,"

"I disliked Klopp's decision because I was training but when I returned he only wanted Robertson."

"My relationship with Klopp hasn't changed but since this injury, I didn't have a meeting with him but our relationship is normal."

"I disliked the way that Klopp has treated me but I understand his situation that he can't change [Robertson] because the team is winning."

"The dressing room is very close, we are a family,"

"Liverpool has proposed renewing me but no agreement has been reached, in January the market opens and we will see. To this day we have nothing closed neither with Liverpool nor with other clubs."

Sounds like a lot of huff and not much puff. If he wants to go, fine. Doubt many will miss him, too many painful memories of him being overwhelmed.

I still can't believe we got him. Can't pass, can't defend.

What worries me more than anything about Moreno is that Klopp would probably still be playing him if he hadn’t been injured and Robbo demonstrated to everybody, what most of us already new, that Moreno was sub standard. I hope to god I never see him in a Liverpool shirt ever again !!

Moreno is going we all know that , it’s a shame Lewis wasn’t fit or he might have played but expect him to be around next season

Hilarious that he moaned to the Spanish press about lack of game time, then follows it up that ***** on the pitch

I think we have all had our fill of watching him flying through the air to make an interception that would be infinitely simpler if the clueless blurt stayed on his feet.

I think its just a cruel twist of fate that we bought a mouse who thinks he's a defender ,because if he just liked cheese and hiding in holes I think I could live with that !

I'm not going to disrespect one of our players but it is definitely time that he went to another club, he's not going to get many games and has not proven himself good enough. Good luck to him wherever he goes.

If I were a manager, interested in him, and all I had to go on was what I see in the few minutes he has played this season and last, I think I'd rather play with ten men
