Bigmick reminded me of when everybody was saying "Sell Traore". At the time I said keep him, for one reason because we'd get f*ck all for him. Glad we did keep him!

Yes, spent my week off pretty much pi$$ed so far.

My missus is going off her head because she gets home from work every day and I haven't lifted a finger round our flat.

You've got to laugh.  :D

In fairness a few people are still wary of traore and rightly so he has to do what he did last night week in and out! I'm not taking anything away from him, his performance yesterday was of a high class and if he keeps performing like that then he will become an exceptional player!
But and the big but is he has to be consistent but the signs are very good as he has shown the level he can go to!
I think a big pat on the back for Traore, Rafa and the coaching staff for polishing this stone!

Traore has come on leaps and bounds this year, its got to be down to Benitez and his confidence at getting a proper run in the team. I was one one the critics who said we would not miss him but now the way he is playing he has got to be first choice LB even over JAR.

Never mind Carlton Palmer, he looks like the man in the Kia-Ora cartoon advert from the mid-eighties.

There was this little kid who said "It's too orangey for crows, it's just for me and my dog"

Next thing, all these people start follwing this kid, and James Traore appears, plucks the Sun out of the sky and starts bouncing it like a basketball.  It was James Traore I'm telling ya!!!

Anyone remember or is it just me?  :D

“It was my first of the season, my last of the season, my best of the season and the one I will remember for ever.”

- Vladi Smicer after scoring in the CL Final

"I'm not a believer in fate..... until tonight, they're going to win it!"

Thank you simic, I knew it wasn't just me.

While we're at it, remember the Hula Hoops adverts as well with that weird man?  And the "Trio, Trio, I want a Trio and I want one now" adverts?

Ahhhh, nostalgia!!!

(Sorry for going off topic!!  Maybe I should start and adverts thread in General Chat)

WWWOOOOWWWWW!!!

That brings some long lost memories back.

I told you that James just grabs the Sun from the sky and plays it like a basketball.  Why did I remember that?  It always stuck in my head as a kid cause it was freaky!!!

Finding that advert was simply magnificent work, Maximus.

I thank you for convincing the people I may be hung over but not mad!!!

Troare hasn't put a foot wrong defensively since starting against Chelsea, he was one of our best players in that match.

But the one thing I would say is that he needs to keep improving, espically the attcking side of his game, that is if he wants a long term future as a full back.
