Whereas I'm unsurprisingly not ,I think his time out the team could see the return to quick incisive passing and winning the ball back quickly.
Lets hope he returns rejuvenated, and refreshed to continue our push into the Champions League places .

SS and RBG will undoubtedly see our midfield improve now.  :Oo:

certainly will and it's lucky we have 3 really big away games that we can possibly pick up points from now; would have definitely lost the battle in midfield against Spurs, man city and Chelsea if Stevie G was playing. :wwww

Yes no doubt, because we have Lucas!  :wwww

rumours that hendo will miss the trip to spurs. the mirror claims he is in an ankle brace and is a doubt
nolan should get a bigger suspension for what was a  deliberate :kungfu: kick. he can have no excuse at all for that.
anyway maybe we will see alberto take his place

Can't wait for that, a midfield full of average players!

Should be fun.

that is a concern , if he is unavailable for any considerable amount of time......I think he may only miss the Spurs game but I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a full recovery by Sunday

It just keeps getting better and better!

So basically, we have no midfield now? Oh well, at least we'll finally see Alberto get a game.

As for Gerrrard, it looks like he'll miss January as well.

Missing Henderson hardly constitutes having "no midfield".

However, playing Lucas I suppose does.

The sooner we get a couple in to replace Henderson and Lucas the better.

Although I don't disagree with your last part, Henderson and Gerrard are the most regular midfielders in our squad this season. So yes, missing both of them at the same time does kind of count as having "no midfield" regardless of what you think of their ability. Looking at what we have as a replacement further justifies my statement.

Football that doesn't involve gifting the opposition a foot up in the possession stats, by courtesy of countless over hit Hollywood balls when a short
pass to a player( preferably in red) would have been enough.... I'm not going to say I'm glad he's out ,because as expected he grew in stature against
the weaker midfield's he has faced lately. I just think with the quality of opposition we have coming up shortly he would have reverted to type and gone missing, and at least now Rodgers has the opportunity to reintroduce high tempo football.

its a blow Henderson is out though.

You mean like he went missing at home to United or away to Villa?

One minute you're saying he raises his game for the big games, the next you're saying he's rubbish, make your mind up.

Firstly

In the second half he went missing against both teams ,to the extent Liverpool where thinking about adopting an American approach by putting his face
on the back of a fucking milk carton . :D

Secondly

What I said is that he doesn't fancy mixing it up against any team with a strong midfield ..I mean that fat fucker Tom Huddlestone should pose
more danger to his belt than he should to our team.  :D
