There was a kazza1 that was a girl but she hasn't posted in a while but I have a plonker so no need for photographic evidence. The picture in my avatar in me so sorry to disappoint

Maybe the reason Gerrard looks so downcast ,is the sudden realisation he's not capable of being the player we all expect him to be any more.

Did he look better with Hendo beside him rather than Lucas. I didn't see all of the game.

i`d say yes, but the quality of the opposition has to be taken into account i suppose

Why not just drop Suarez, Enrique, Coutinho and Sturridge too?

i`d go with that mate, especially now that StuYesThatStu has rubbished the idea, thats usually a positive sign that a idea works.

I'd also give that a try (Lucas and Henderson in midfield) but it'll have to be against weaker opposition. Won't be having one of those anytime soon unfortunately. Maybe against Hull or Norwich in December.

Yeah, its usually a good sign that Stu's rubbished the idea.

Its clearly obvious that players like Lucas and Henderson are the way forward for this club.

We've got two amazing players in those two... surely all the top teams in world football will be sniffing around them come the summer. Best midfield in the world.

Who needs Alonso, Gerrard, Hamann and even Mascherano when we've got players like Lucas and Henderson... we're so lucky to have two players in their that would struggle to get into most sides in the premier league.

Absolutely embarrassing that people rate those two.

stop being such a drama queen and putting words in peoples mouths, no one is claiming that lucas and henderson are brilliant players, what they are saying though is that those 2 are probably our best defensive pairing because they are fairly athletic.
in the past we relied heavily on the likes of gerrard to create and score our goals but with the likes of suarez, sturridge, coutinho and moses up top we arent as reliant on midfield as we once were. what we need from our midfield now is for them to set a decent platform for our front four to play from, or in other words we dont expect miracles from our midfield all`s we want of them is that they dont get over run. (which is what has been happening, especially late on in games)
