There's something about this guy. His focus and determination to pound the team and its ethics into his own mould inspires a lot of confidence. There's a classiness about him that is starting to shine through the team. There's a long, long way to go yet, but BR looks like one of life's winners. Bad results will most certainly come, but I feel that BR may be the right man to keep focus and make those all too familiar "bad days" into rare one-offs.

Psychology is so powerful in modern football. I remember Hoddle being mocked for the whole Eileen Drewery-faith healer thing. Ok, faith healing dosent seem to fit, but he was on the right tracks.

He's a good manager this guy.

Stick with him and we'll go places.

He'll make mistakes because he's still young but the squad looks really tight and they're playing for each other.

Spurs were poor today, so were united.... great day!

His tactical versatility was proven once again today. He knows when to play open attacking football but he also knows when to shut up shop... and with three wins 1-0 in the league on the bounce we've proven we can do that effectively.

We'll have dodgy spells this season no doubt but I think Moses and Sakho are good business and Lloris I don't know much about, plus we've got Luis to come back in. We're in decent shape lads, let's keep it going!!

Sturridge has been a fantastic signing, and I'll be the first to admit I didn't want us to sign him. In Brendan we trust!

Anyone else think today's performance was reminiscent of Rafa's LFC?

Very resilient. Better defensively than we were last season. Even Skrtel who I don't really rate had a great game.

I wouldnt get too excited yet, we  in the first 2 games of the season we were hanging on for dear life and today wasnt much better. BR needs to get the team to get the possession back when we are under pressure, in all of our games this season the performance level has dropped in the second half and we have scraped by, i dont consider that good tactics. Their are still serious issues in the central midfield, Gerrard fades badly in each game and needs to be rested more often, Henderson is playing well but still dosnt anything much when in possession and Lucas constantly gives away silly free kicks in dangerous areas and is poor in possession. We really should of bought someone in this position but its clear BR dosnt see a problem in this position. With the current personnel i would probably introduce Joe Allen in place of Lucas in the long term and he is better in possession of the ball, but hes injured and out of form so that dosnt exactly fill me with excitement either. For me this is the area of the pitch that will cost us big this season as we dont have enough control of games.

I'll probably have a less enthusiastic take on things tomorrow when I'm sober mate haha!

Enjoy it though, not like we've had much to celebrate recently.
