It really is a puzzle why the press try to stitch him up when he goes round calling them liars all the time.  ???

Liverpool knows the club has the legal right not to sell him esp. to rival club. So we should tell Wenger, "If you want him that badly, then our asking price is 100 million, otherwise f**k off and don't come sniffing around anymore unless you write that 100 million pound cheque".

I don't think he would be stupid enough to do it.

I think Arsenal have been told that anything under £55m will be rejected. In my mind, this is so that when Arsene comes back and chucks an extra million on, we can again ridicule their evaluation of Suarez. His ego of course plays apart.

Does Suarez see himself as a £40m player, or will he agree with the clubs evaluation that puts him in the same tier as the best players? As cr*p as it all sounds, this probably all rests on Suarez' self image. He knows he's damaged that image, and the fact that only a second rate team such as Arsenal have deemed such behaviour to be acceptable from a player, the lads probably rubbing his hands in glee at the thought. He might have also noted the spring board effect that Arsenal have for players such as Cesc and RVP.

At the end if the day, Arsenal are just another stepping stone. Their fans must know it. Arsene must know it, and we all know it too.

Why not offer him to RM for 45 and all will be happy ?,we don't lose him to a rival English team ,We get a big Sum to invest in new players ,wrap that saga and move on.

I, and others have mentioned a £40m + Alonso deal. I don't know if its doable, but I'd love to see it. We could use extra depth in the middle and Alonso is a world champion. Not only that, he loves us, we love him and the symbolism of reuniting Gerrard and his mate would surely leave a sweet taste even if Suarez went the other way.

I'm sure the option will have been considered, and maybe BR is already looking at Alonso.

But there's always reasons that haven't occurred to us, and maybe there are reasons Alonso won't fit with us anymore.

Yes good suggestion Cash+player ,Alonso will be a great trade. Question is if management has an ounce of creativity,

So, it's reported today that there is a complete comms breakdown between BR and LS. LOL. Is this headline as a result of BR saying he doesn't want to talk anymore about the situation....I think so.

Anyway breaking news, the rumour is, LS trained with the rest of the team after he apologizes to the club and players.

Most fans I'm sure will wait until Suarez has dealt with the club and his team mates I should think. Apologising to a zillion scattered fans might take time. And with the right advice, LS will I'm sure be asked to acknowledge the fans.

Ficklety. Word of the month. We as reds fans are guilty too, though better than the rest.

I'm not bothered about an apology.

It's pointless as far as i'm concerned.
He still wants to go but has been left with no option but to come back and get on with it.
I am happy he is staying from the point of view that he is a key player but would be looking to offload him in the summer abroad.

No futile apology is going to make a difference to me.

I agree. No use as he is off next summer anyway as I can't see him signing a new contract.

Would be interesting though, if we make it to the CL next season. I've put a bet on that we will.........
