Feel sorry for Rogers. Over a year in and still not managed to get rid of all the dross Kenny and Comolli brought in.

TBH He hasn't had the same sort of budget Kenny had. Had he done I'm sure we would have not wasted it the way we did.

Well the budget was looked after by Comolli but it depends on if your attributing the signings of Suarez and Carroll to Kenny despite it happening as he got the job and Kennys actually spend was during the summer which was around £57mil - I think BR is past that now.

Kennys biggest signing was 35Mil. BR has never been allowed to spend that on 1 player. His most expensive player has been Allen?

So Carroll is being attached to Kenny despite it being sorted out by Comolli including the price

So your suggesting Kenny was just a yes man and Comolli had 100% accountability for all signings? Don't be so naive.

Exactly, Kenny is a legend and to be revered but he is not infallible and has some accountability for the signings.

Unfortunately, two of our biggest playing legends -- Souness and Dalglish are responsible for some of the worst signing this club have seen...sad to say, they both combined and put us 10 years behind our competition. I applaud Rogers for the balls to clear of some of these highly paid garbage as quickly as he can

For the first two signings yes - that was the work or Comolli as opposed to a caretaker manager as highlighted in his book. The signings in the summer he was picking but again not the fees.

Surely Comolli would have said to Kenny okwe can get Downing but he will cost 20mil. Do you still want him or look at other targets?
