Personally I want instant success.
This club has trophies and honours coming out of its ar'se and thats what I want right now. I dont care that we havent won the league for decades because of a lack of business acumin from successive boards. I dont care that we have had two dirty, sly tw@ts who brought us to the brink of disaster, or that they employed Hodgson the coffin dodger. I dont care that KK came back and sanctioned a £35 million flop, and then had to cope with an unprecedented media sh'itstorm which eventually cost him his job, or that Rodgers has had to pick up the pieces and build the squad with little investment while being slated from inside and out for his lack of experience, or that Suarez has given the fa yet another opportunity to punish him, and us into next season.
I dont care about all that because we are LFC and we shouldnt be finishing outside of the top 4 no matter what trials and tribulations or battles we have had. Noody else has gone through what we have in the last 10 years but so what? All that means nothing because I want what I want, when I want it.
Please dont argue with me, because I am right...

Sounds like a spoiled brat who is forcing his parents to spend beyond their means to keep the little ***** quiet. Would you like a diamond encrusted iPad with that?

I havent really seem many post about demanding instant success etc etc blah. But have seen a few want more than floating around mid table.

Have you see the latest from the club and the manager ?

Stating they would turn down the chance to play in Europe because it clashes with a "lucrative tour" to Australia !!!

That's not quite true is it Benny.

Rodgers said that he thinks LFC should be in Europe on merit rather than by a fair play back door. I actually agree with him. He added that it also means the campaign would start much earlier (July-ish) and be even longer than what it already is, as if the competition isn't drawn out as it is. He also added that he thinks a break from this comp would help us kick on in the league; again I actually agree with the theory behind this, especially as he's going to be under even more pressure next year. Then he said by qualifying this way it would then clash with the tour but this was hardly his primary focus and reasoning as to why he wouldn't want to qualify; again he'd rather the club did it on merit.

When the club has the chance to play in Europe they take it - you bin off any pre season tours and you concentrate on the real matches.

Being in Europe didnt massively effect our season when you look at the results after a Europa league match.

It doesn't matter how we get into Europe whether its fair play or not - it's a chance you never turn down.

If he doesn't think they can handle both European football and Prem football then he isn't the man to be our manager.

When the club has the chance to play in Europe they take it - you bin off any pre season tours and you concentrate on the real matches. 

We don't definitely have the chance yet do we?

once again you inability to read properly, hear properly and understand simple things shows up. KennyKan even spelt it out in smaller words for you but it doesn't fit your objective does it so you didn't hear it. Bit of mixed feelings for me with this story preferring not to be in Europa if it means getting through fair play system (which is kind of ironic considering we suppose to have the devil or should I say diablo incarnate as our number 7 if you believe media hacks)

While I can see merit of just concentrating on league and domestic cups im not sure it sends the right message. Whatever some may think of Europa league its a cup and I like see Liverpool attempting to win everything that is on offer

The season begins in July anyway with the club flying thousands of miles around the world playing in pre season friendlies - there is no better way to get ready for the season than playing in competitive matches.

And principles ?!

Yes I'm sure that will be the exact reason for turning it down if given the chance.

If ( yes If ) we are given the chance and its turn down and we fly all over the world instead that won't go down well at all. And it won't be down to principles - it will ( in my opinion ) down to a "lucrative" tour

Yes Benny, the principles of being in a comp on merit

The season doesn't begin in July Benny - that's called PRE-SEASON Benny the thing almost ALL teams do before the season begins.
