So none of you really rate him then?
Good squad player, but never gonna get a game, now with Allen and Sahin.
At least he will get more play at Stoke. I thought he would go to the bitter blues.

Looks like they are skint then.

He's looking forward to pulling on the Stoke shirt because of the vertical stripes.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Too pedestrian and limited in terms of his impact on too many games. Compared to Jan Molby but not in the same class in reality.

Just not good enough last season particularly after Christmas and ultimately he was clearly only seen by BR as a squad player at best.

Kenny wouldn't have signed him in the late 80s.

The only thing they have in common is that they both carry a bit of timber.

I'm hoping this deal has freed up some money to bring in a striker. Better hurry up though!

The words of an old song come floating back:

The warmth of your hand and a cold grey sky
It fades to the distance.
The image is gone
only you and I
This means nothing to me
This means nothing to me
Oh Vienna -

I personally, would have kept Adam. He is better than Shelvey and can be used for set pieces. he showed that for Stoke.

Like Henderson, Charlie didn't get a fair run in the team, often appearing as a cameo substitute.

A lot of the poor players (Carroll, Hendo, Downing, Adam) that people wanted out, spent most of last season on the bench!
It was the Luis Suarez show.
