well theres a few on twitter saying that he go the go ahead to buy players this week after a meeting with the owners. I take it that this was the same meeting where he was said to have been told that results must get better in the next 4 weeks.

i think now that he was told that but more to do with if you ask a top player to come to a team that is 12th they might turn you down, if we have a good 4 weeks we could be 5th and stand a better chance of getting the bigger players.

And what's wrong with that? These boards have missed someone of the caliber of BigMick.
Ycsatbjywtbiastkamb makes a point about our manager's behaviour which is backed up by fact. That's all.

BR is not covering himself with glory at the moment. Back him by all means.... he is still our manager. But that does not make him immune to criticism.

And fact of the matter is plain and simple and can be seen from the league table.

He talks a good talk but I've not seen anything from him yet that even hints at a possible turn around in our fortunes.

maybe he actually opened his inbox and found tom's memo .
i wouldnt be impressed at all at how he conducts himself in interviews, he talks too much and doesnt have any boundaries so the reporters get far too much information out of him and then run headlines like "boss rodgers warns sterling not to be so greedy".
sterlings advisors are believed to be unhappy about his comments regarding his contract situation and the truth is that its not the first time he has openly spoke about players to the media and thats a very slippery path to be taking.

Here's an idea... let's just sack Rogers today if we don't win and in the process disrupt our season. Then we get in a new manager who we can also sack after a few months if we are not happy. Were bound to strike it lucky at some point yes? I mean no one really needs time to settle these days do they. Good idea no?

Or we can actually give him some time instead of coming on here and acting like you have f*cking pre menstrual syndrome.

The message is simple to understand really... he will do as much as possible to reinforce the current squad in January, but at the same time don't expect too much. How hard is that to understand???

I am not a fan of BR but getting rid of him would solve nothing, unless he ever plays downing at left back. Then i stand by the fact he should be fired on the spot

Once again you distort the meaning of something BR has said to have a dig at him. It’s getting a bid sad really. I understand when people criticise a manager’s tactics and choice of player to bring in but stuff like this is just pathetic and shows either you’re an idiot who is influenced by everything you read or just have an agenda against the manager.
