The problem was Kenny's wasted millions. He basically broke FSG spine. They trusted him with all that money and he failed them. Now FSG have to try balance the books somehow,and that means less investment for not only this year but for a prolonged period.
No manager can waste 100 million pounds without rattling the economic foundation of the club and putting it at risk for economic mayhem.
FSG supported Kenny and paid the price. The club is now rock bottom in a relegation dogfight. Let's hope this situation won't last very long, but be afraid because there is not that much quality in this team - and if a couple of key players get injured - who knows what might happen.
So now after Ray, Kenny and Rodgers. Can anyone with hand on heart say that Benitez did not produce the goods? He was producing results and made us into a great team almost invincible at home, feared away and handsome in european competition.


It's easy to pick a scapegoat. If you think Kenny's the one who put us in this state then you are seriously deluded
