Outside the Mickey Mouse cup we won earlier this year there really hasn't been much to smile about over the last 2-3 years.

Fans have genuine concerns about FSG's future investment in Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers as a manager and the debarcle that was the final day of the transfer window.

Sugar coating over the fact that we haven't won a game yet and are continuing to struggle against mediocre sides doesn't change anything.

And don't give me this s**t about not 'supporting' the side, after so many years we are STILL HERE SUPPORTING LIVERPOOL FC, me I don't live in England but I get up at 3am to watch my side play week in week out.

I think that qualifies me to have an honest opinion of where we are at. F**k me sorry for getting upset at a small and trivial little thing called 'mid table mediocrity'..........

Only a knob would believe that anyone is "sugar coating" anything, and constantly going on about the situation doesnt change anything either, so whats your point?

we look so lightweight up front but we have probably the most physical CF in world football on our books but we cant play him because we have loaned him out? with decision making like that it`s no wonder we are 4th from bottom
if everton beat newcastle tonight at goodison they go second in the league, if that happens that wont improve the mood of the local fans either. it`s not even as if everton have had an easy start, by tonight they`d have played united, villa (away), west brom (away) and newcastle.

As for Everton, they've clearly benefited over the years from not sacking the manager all the time.   Something we could learn from perhaps.

rodgers is the manager mate and he had all summer to sort out his striking options.
as for not sacking managers i think that horse has already bolted, this club has sacked a manager who took us to 2 CL finals and another who took us to both domestic cup finals within the last 2 and a half years.
we sacked two proven winners and now we have a manager who`s best performances in his 4 years of management have come in press conferences and interviews.

In any case the situation is what it is and there nothign we can do until January so lets just get behind the team and support them. I feel we are improving week by week and all we need is for Borini and/or Suarez to rediscover their touch in front of goal and we'll start picking up plenty of wins. Would also be great if we can bring in some of the young strikers and please please lets drop Stevie to the bench he's hindering us now.

Tosh, The old its not the managers fault its FSG, its Ayre, Its next doors cat. Carrol is back in 4 weeks. In the half game he played he was voted MOM. Borini seems to get 50 minutes before Brod subs him off for being awful. Which young strikers do you think can cut it right now? Failing that drop the captain?

There is nothing to do but get the moaning out the way and accept it, until Jan we are going to struggle

on gerrard, he's not going to get dropped. i actually though he did ok in the second half on saturday but he was abysmal against west brom and arsenal. for me, he should be moved out of the centre of midfield as he gives the ball away far too frequently through trying to force the game. and to think people in the press have been having a go at allen for keeping it simple and retaining possession which is rodgers' blueprint.

personally i'd drop borini and put gerrard on the right of the front three. i want him influencing the game in the final third of the pitch more where we are struggling at the moment.

mate, why do you keep saying carroll was abysmal for us? during the second half of last season he was one of our best players and by the seasons end he probably was our best player.
granted he didnt score tons of goals but he was making a major contribution, for instance he didnt score when we beat everton 3-0 at home or when we beat united 2-1 in the F.A cup or when we mullered chelsea at anfield but he was probably MoM in all 3 games.
and i dont know why you are mentioning his injury for, if rodgers hadnt have frozen him out and if he`d had a proper pre season he probably wouldnt have got injured in the first place.
re gerrard i agree he has been playing $*i*e recently but i thought he was a bit better on saturday and it would be a brave decision to drop him with united coming up.

I agree, put him in the reserves for a few games and get him to start scoring, at this rate he could end up starting his LFC career like Crouch

If I had the luxury of living in England I would be at Anfield every chance I get to SUPPORT THE TEAM I LOVE.

I am behind Rodgers and the players, why wouldn't I? But coming on here and sprouting s**t about how wonderful things, when there are PLENTY OF improvements that can be made is rather redudant and imbecilic.

I don't think many people can argue this point ycsatbjywtbiastkamb.

If he was told that he couldn't get a player until Carroll was sold / loan he should have not have waited until the last week / day of the transfer window to sort this out.

As much flack as Benitez, Hodgson and Dalglish copped I can't recall them leaving anything to the last day (granted we got Carroll as a panic buy on the last day that was more Judas' fault then anything else)

You're comparing apples with oranges.

Everton's situation has no parallel with our own. Their management has stayed constant throughout Moyes tenure. It's far easier to persist with a manager when the owners don't change hands every few years.

Our current owners have had 3 managers in 18 months

I admire your passion, I really do. And youre entitled to your opinion.
But my point is once youve made your statement does it have to be repeated ad nauseum? You are moaning: fact. This is because you are upset (as you have stated) with the current situation. But by calling me an idiotic moron, once again you have misunderstood my  post. I am upset, frustrated, angry etc but I choose to look on the positives rather than complain about whats already happened and therefore cannot be changed. I am not deluded or spouting how wonderful things are. How could I?
We all lke a good old moan and get things off our chest. But serial moaning does no good whatsoever and is the easiest option which many choose to take. Challenge yourself to be positive and see that we are on the right track and things will click soon. We can all be negative but, if we love the club as much as we say we do, is it benefitting LFC to be constantly criticising and whinging? Have faith. It will make you and those around you feel better, I promise.
