As for Spurs they were extremely lucky to win that game - Freidal kept them in it plus Fulham should of had a blatant penalty
Lets leave city out of this shall we – we know they’ve got the money to buy whoever they want – and it’s not like we’re challenging them for top spot anyway!!
We have been very poor of late. Very poor. Just to highlight this, look at our form against our rivals for 4th and tell me what’s wrong with this picture:
Arsenal 6 wins from 7 games (only loss coming against Spurs away)
Spurs 6 wins from 7 games (only draw away to stoke)
Liverpool 3 wins from 7 games (draws at home to Utd, Norwich and Swansea and hammered 4-0 at spurs)
Blame City’s money all you like, blame lucky Spurs if it makes you feel better, but all that just hides the reality that our multimillion pound assembled squad can’t beat Norwich or Swansea AT HOME!!!
That’s our doing, our problem. Got nowt to do with Spurs or City. Or money for that matter! Our strike force costs over £50 Million, what did Norwich’s defence cost?
I agree that we shouldn’t look beyond Kenny. Chopping and changing managers is wrong. I’m happy Kenny is here and he should definitely be here next season REGARDLESS of where we finish this season. I like him, but I don’t agree with some of his team selections, formations or tactics. He’s been in football a he.ll of a lot longer than me and knows a fu.ck load more than me, but just like any manager he aint perfect , he has his faults and he makes some bad decisions.
IMO we wont make top four at the moment because as Agger so aptly put it in the press we’re running around like headless chickens. We’re not playing as a team. Yes players need time to gel, learn new systems etc, but if that’s the case then why sacrifice on playing so many new players in the first 11, whilst Spearing, Kuyt, Maxi are all on the bench?
