you can go on and on about how Carroll is young and he has re-sale value bla bla all that garbage but that's exactly what it is - garbage. if we wanted a player like him, we should have gone for Heskey. no difference really.

badly disjointed second half. flanno was at fault for that equaliser, but he was doing great before it. i think it dented his confidence after that a whole lot.

tbh, i'm disappointed, but at least we've seen a glimpse of just HOW GOOD we can be with this new lot.

still excited.

flano - that was by far his worst match, looked lost.

Everything slowed way down and there were too many lazy fouls. We looked really tired 2nd half.

Carroll's work rate has been second to none today, unfortunately he had a poor game, all the crosses he got he just wasted them, he was a passenger the whole game.

Henderson and Flannagan were awful!

We played a brilliant first half, but what happened in the 2nd? and why didn't Aquilani make the bench at least?

Well the positives are Adam, Enrique, Downing, Agger and Lucas all had good games today, we definitely miss Gerrard's presence in midfield lets hope he gets fit ASAP. Suarez looked very rusty and he gave a lot of stray passes

Faded far too much in the second half.

Things will get better though. Would have preferred aquaillani to meireles, we lack creativity

I missed the first half but the second half we looked very scrappy, things will get better though, I have faith in that.

Tale of the second half: we took the foot off the gas and then just ran out of gas. Frustrating to watch after such a scintillating first half. Still, it's early days with greater fitness to come and more cohesion to develop amongst a group of lads who are relatively new to each other. Disappointing to get a draw on opening day but there were signs of promise.

OMFG what the f uck was that in the second half, we sp unked the game away we were very poor.

And that flanno is a load of chit Kelly should have played we just had nothing to offer in the 2nd half i cant believe it.

We should have been 3 up half time job done instead we get 1-1 with that f uckin ref and his yellow cards, absolutely p issed off.
