Hello all
ahh there you are. you're dead proud of yourself aren't you Benny? you're happy that your point has been seemingly proven aren't you? normally, a supporter would wish for the player to prove him wrong but being that vindicative b!tch you are, you were delighted to see him fail. but enjoy this glorious moment while you still can Benny cause in time Joe Cole will be the player he was.

Scottbot wrote:I still think he's history but at least this dispells the myth that Cole is not working hard and is simply collecting his pay cheque as some have suggested.
The latter, in particular, has struggled in his first season since joining on a free transfer from Chelsea and there is already speculation the 29-year-old's Anfield career could be a short one with a number of clubs being linked with a summer move.
But Dalglish has been happy with the way those who have less first-team action than they would have hoped for have responded when there has been an opportunity.
"You don't get anywhere if you don't work hard but you also don't get anywhere if you think you have arrived," said the Reds boss.
"Joe's dedication and application on the training pitch has been superb. This week Joe had a day off but he still came in to train.
"At the moment the lads are not doing too badly so it is difficult to give everybody a game, but if he'd been a defender he might have had a chance with the injuries we have had.
"But I think you insult the boy if you ask if he has the necessary desire.
"He came on and scored a goal (on Saturday) and we couldn't have asked for any more from him in training.

Why would someone be furious when the club buy a player?![]()
Yes you might doubt the signing, most of us do when we sign someone we don't like, but be furious with it? come on mate.
maypaxvobiscum wrote:of course we should all believe you GYBS as everyone knows you've got a crystal ball. so we shall see what happens with Joe Cole but as far as i'm concerned, unlike you, i want him to succeed. and unlike Konchesky and Poulsen who should be shipped out, Joe Cole has proven himself as a player at West Ham and Chelsea. and as far as my knowledge is concerned, dude who are you kidding? i'm not the one on pills am i?![]()

Roy signed him remember, and therefore every signing he made has to be a disaster. Even now, regardless of the performances Meireles has put in, the praise is reserved simply because Roy may have made a good signing.
When Joe Cole signed I was made up. Over the moon that we got him. Unfortunately, we can now see why Chelsea decided to let him go.
So let him have his moment, let him have his "told ya so" moment, because these arguments are usually a case of black and white.

HAHA, I'll bet there was a dog kicked when Meireles won the (Insert Alphabet) player of the season award in GYBS' house.
