Think Coles face said it all after he scored to be honest. He knows hes been poor and knows hes going simple as that. Big wages and no impression, its a no brainer really and Cole understands that full well.

I dont for one minute think that Benny would post anything to upset anyone.
The article was from the mail, yes it did have something in it that mentioned the rag but i dont think he would have posted anything intentionally to offend.
I am also certain that he shares the same views regarding that so called paper as all of us.
Best leave it at that i think lads.

I have been hugely disappointed.
He hasnt looked fit at all and looks a shadow of the player he was.
Its a shame as he doesnt come across to me as a money grabbing mercenary and hasnt said anything bad despite not playing.
I think he is genuinely as gutted and frustrated as we are by his failure to deliver.
But for me he plays in a position where we should be looking to add pace this summer. So unless he is happy with cameos and the odd game here and there it might be better he moves on.

I cant believe Cole scores a :censored: deflected goal when we were 4-0 up and cruising, when he should of (dispite the outcome) squared the ball to kuyt or Suarez who would of had a tap in and it starts a 6 or 7 page back and two about whether he should stay or go. Jesus hes past it, injury-prone and is gonna cost us 15 million in wages over the next 3 years. So what he could come in every now and again and do a job (yet to be proved) thats what are youngsters are for not players on 90 grand a week.

Get Rid of him and Maxi "oh but he sored a hat-trick" Rodriguez and all the other dross and buy top quality players for the first team and have youngsters who are on peanuts compared to the has-beens like Jova etc. as back up and then were looking at a much brighter future.

We dont need old timers hanging on to former glorys. We need to be ruthless as a club and supporters. When a players past it show him the door. None of this oh but look what hes done for us boo hoo :censored:. Their gonna retire millionaires, the club aint putting in a bang and drowning them. We dont need to feel like we owe them to let them end things on their terms.

I still think he's history but at least this dispells the myth that Cole is not working hard and is simply collecting his pay cheque as some have suggested.

The latter, in particular, has struggled in his first season since joining on a free transfer from Chelsea and there is already speculation the 29-year-old's Anfield career could be a short one with a number of clubs being linked with a summer move.

But Dalglish has been happy with the way those who have less first-team action than they would have hoped for have responded when there has been an opportunity.

"You don't get anywhere if you don't work hard but you also don't get anywhere if you think you have arrived," said the Reds boss.

"Joe's dedication and application on the training pitch has been superb. This week Joe had a day off but he still came in to train.

"At the moment the lads are not doing too badly so it is difficult to give everybody a game, but if he'd been a defender he might have had a chance with the injuries we have had.

"But I think you insult the boy if you ask if he has the necessary desire.

"He came on and scored a goal (on Saturday) and we couldn't have asked for any more from him in training.

It's such a shame it's not working for him because he was such a top player at Chelsea. I'd like Kenny to give him a run of games from now til the end of the season and see how he fares. One last roll of the dice, give him a decent run in the side and it might ignite him

So that's all the comeback you can muster ? To insult me . Well done it's nice to see your football knowledge is still inept as ever .

So does this mean you can't back up your love for Joe Cole ( same as your love for Maureen ) .

Do you not have any vids of his scintillating form in a Liverpool shirt ? Performances that's justify paying him 90 grand a week  !

In place of who mate ? Who does he deserve to replace in the team .

well thats the issue isn't it? He'd have to be central but higher up the pitch, or he can go on the left and we can let Suarez play higher up in the centre

I'd like to see him get a run in the side either way but I don't want it to compromise our chances of fifth, catch 22. Might be best to find out the answer before the end of this season though rather than try and find answers into the next

Hello all

ahh there you are. you're dead proud of yourself aren't you Benny? you're happy that your point has been seemingly proven aren't you? normally, a supporter would wish for the player to prove him wrong but being that vindicative b!tch you are, you were delighted to see him fail. but enjoy this glorious moment while you still can Benny cause in time Joe Cole will be the player he was.

There is no place for him in the team mate - even if Carroll isn't fit to start then Maxi has earnt his place - Suarez and Kuyt have undoubtedly earnt their place - same with Lucas , Spearing and Merieles .

Cole is currently occupying the place he deserves - the bench . There is no one you would drop in favour of him currently .
