2 full backs today, not 4 centre backs. Both Aurelio (especially) and Flanagan have been moving the ball out of defence well.

remember the situation when we played at city? wow. glad we are her now. Andy F-ing Carroll and little Luis Suarez with the Return of the King. Life is good.

The really brilliant thing about quality players like Suarez and Carroll coming into a side is watching how it lifts the rest of the team. West Brom was a bad blip but I really think we'll be seeing more of this kind of football in the future. Would love to bag 5 or 6 tonight without reply.

I know we are 3 up but they have so much of the game left to go. We need to get another to really kill it off imo.

Looking at that 2nd Carroll goal, stunning header. He really is impossible to defend against when he is attacking the ball full pelt.

Well done Flanagan... excellent defending there.. Knew he couldn't out-pace balotelli but did fantastically in slowing him down.
