I've been a fan for 35 years and as far as I can remember the club has never fired a manager while the season was ongoing. The termination of Hodgson and replacing him with the King was the best possible appointment.
If we finish 5th, I'd love to see us topple Chelsea for 5th and Spurs in 4th so that our friend Nando will bitterly regret his move and continue with his sulking business at his 'big' club.

or winning the big ears ?
can be describe as a God-like season ?

i think he meant that everything seemed to be going downhill under the previous owners, the court struggles and the previous manager but then NESV and Dalglish came along to revitalized the club and made us believe we're able to actually compete for the ECL spot when just a month ago or so, it was virtually impossible. even the loss of Torres isnt being felt as we've got Suarez, who in one match probably covered more ground than Torres did the entire season. so yes it does seem like a fairytale in a way.
and btw, you spelled Houllier wrongly.

Why do so many people say that manure have it in the bag? They are only 4 points up... They still have chelski twice, arsenal away and us away. We will beat them while they're home, and if arsenal win that week it's 1 point. Arsenal will beat them while they're home as well and arsenal are top... manure will probably lose points away to chelski and if they lost some home, sweet. Just those four fixtures I see manure picking up only 2 or 4 points. I think Arsenal will win the league for sure. I know they will drop some more points too, but manure blow away from home so they are destined to drop more points anyway.

now looking at it, we are at least a 4-5 man team counting Suraez, Carroll, Gerrard and Raul.
we look more balanced, no longer are we in a situation when traitor is injured and Ngog starts.

8 points behind spurs, but if we went on a bit of a run, won 7 or 8 out of the eleven and drew a couple we could get 25-30 points.
not out of the question with everyone fit.
saying Man Utd are going to win the 19th crown and topple us is a bit premature for two reasons:
1: they are only 4 points clear of the Gunners, and they have to go to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, then Anfield in the league next week. theres potentially 6 points dropped.
2. They have had good results to date, but their squad is not good enough to sustain it, with the likes of carrick, fletcher, nani i would rate as "average" not great, and Scholes and giggs, playing on plastic knees and hips these days, i predict a blip in form. They have been so lucky, ie V blackpool away, and i think their luck will run out with 12 still to play.
