Well get a fortune for them more then what hes worth, especially if he goes to a rival. Well replace him and have plenty more to improve other areas. I think the same would happen that did with Torres, wed get two players that indivdually may not be as good (on thier day) but improve more with thier combined eforts.

No feckin way... he can go to any european club but not to our PL rivals.

And also we can't have two goal keepers playing in the same goal can we?  :D... I know you're talking about improving other areas of the team but good goalkeepers are hard to come by and they are individual performers... Shay Given would be a good replacement but he is older than Reina...

Think £20m will scare off Man Utd and Arsenal. If Joe Hart keeps up his rubbish form Man City may be looking for a new keeper. £20M + Shay Given and it's a deal :D

Purslow should't have agreed to it last summer then should he . He is on a long contract like torres was £20 million for pepe is scandelous.

Id rather replace him with Neuer the German keeper if he goes, that guys a beast. Now we know we have responsible owners who will actfast to replace outgoing players , the days of worrying weither someone will leave are gone to me.

Unfortunately, when the going gets tough the footballers get going...to other clubs.

Liverpool need to spend more time trying to develop young English/irish/Scottish players.

The foreign players very rarely have a strong connection with the club and look to leave as soon as things get difficult.

Loyalty in football is all but dead these days, footballers are only on the look out for themselves, whether it be to boost their wallets or their medal collections, nothing in football surprises me anymore.

in the end mate if Reina wants to leave then it is the player's blame not someone who put the clause in the contract

what I'll agree with everyone else that we will get ripped off with the price and blame Purslow for putting the clause in there (if it is indeed true)

The Torres situation should act as a wake up call to everyone. No matter what any players says, you can never trust them. In fact the only person I trust is Kenny. Aside from that those who don'twant to be here they can go, we aer on the up now so they will be replaced swiftly.

I say it again, anyone that wants to leave our club, well that' fine. But they will rue the day they left when we lift the EPL, CL and the rest. I believe under Kenny, we are heading in the right direction and if players can't see this, then they must be mad. Seeing as Keeny has only been manager for about 4 weeks (if that), but the progress so far has been incredible. We will win trophies very soon.

Hate to say it, but it has to be said.  If yesterday's performance is the start of a goalkeeper's version of a Torres like sulk, that was it.  I hope it's just a blip for him, but, Wow, Pepe was shocking.  Parker's goal could have been saved, Pepe took a bit too much for granted on it and Carra's reaction to it told the story.  yes the defending should have been a bit more aggresive on Parker, but Pepe was slow to react and didn't even shade towards the only side that Parker could have shot to.

One thing Reina doesn't do enough of IMO is contest crosses, therefore he is, in my eyes, about #4 on the culpability list for the second goal.  Carra was first, Wilson second , Skrtel third.  He comes in a tie for second for the third goal.  Skrtel made a great impression of a dead dog on the road and Carra just lacked the pace to contest the shot.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.
