Reina seems a really decent fella and you only have to see his passion when we score goals and how he has been barking out the orders as the team captain of late to know he won't do the dirty on us.

He also has his "best" friend playing across the park at Everton so I'm sure he won't get to lonely.

going by what Reina said last summer he and Torres dont see each other outside of football, so its not like its he best friend has left him........just means more Paella for him.

Think we need to stop worrying too much that players are going to abandon us now seeing as the owners have proven they will move quick to fix any issues we encounter. Half our trouble has been pandering to players in fear they leave us and it kills team spirit. Was understanable under the old regime with no hope of these boys being replaced but that all changed yesterday and I think serves as warning that if you dont do a job or keep whining this regime has the means to show you to the door and bring another in.

Andrew_Heaton I don't think Reina will leave without giving FSG a chance, then again, I didn't think Torres would, they need to offer Pepe a revised deal

Reina has been linked with a move to Arsenal in the past and there is now speculation Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson could be contemplating a surprise bid for the 28-year-old in the summer as he searches for a long-term replacement for the retiring Edwin van der Sar.

Liverpool fans have taken to club forums and blogs this week to discuss the possible departure of Reina, with some pointing out that when he first joined the club there was a large group of Spanish players and back-room staff who have all, one by one, left leaving the goalkeeper as one of the only Spaniards remaining.
