Adam's transfer request has been rejected by Blackpool - can see this getting messy

i just hope we dont sign him for ridiculous money

anymore than 6 million and i say leave him

hes only had half a good season in the prem, other than that hes been mr average all his career

Ajax will sell we wont pay the cash, to be fair, i think he is worth what they are asking, he has the capabilities to be very good, ubt we just wont pay for him.

To be fair, Dzeko was the same money and Suarez, in my opinion has proved himself a LOT more than him.

nah dzeko is worth more than suarez

hes performed in a better league and still ripped the goalscoring charts in two

and plus in man city world dzeko is 26 million, in the real world hes worth no more than 18

suarez 15 million player for me currently, cause hes only done it in a pooor dutch league

man city has really skewed the transfer market in England. These players are no where near their "reported" value. The January window has always been more bad business than good. Where's the Camoli magic - unearthing gems and so on, I would have thought we would have had some obscure North African youth player by now :down:

how the hell did harry redknapp get van der vaat then for 8 million in this current man city world climate

holloway is unrealistic and i can see it being hard to get players off him

how can he expect us to pay ridiculous amounts for a guy who has only really had one half a season of impressive football at a high level his whole career?

redknapp had sod all to do with it. infact he knew nothing about the transfer. his chairman brought him and then phoned him at the last minute on deadline day saying "i've got you a present".

in the end real madrid were that desperate to sell before the deadline that they were willing to accept almost any bid. a few days before that they were wanting £18m. in his infinite wisdom, purslow inevitably decided that he wanted joe cole instead of VDV anyway.

The deal there was - he became available late in the market, there wasn't much demand for him, as he didn't feature much for RM the previous season. Players like that can hide in a Summer transfer market because of the worldwide noise being made - deals like this are harder to pull off in the Winter market. Not impossible just harder.

As for us and the Saurez saga - we wont just agree to pay some crazy price cos 'Ajaz' says so. Good on our negotiator to stand firm.

Holloway said only the 4 mil bid has been made so far and no improved offer made. Also said Comoli was on the phone to the blackpool chairman yesterday but that he didnt know what he was going on about!
