Ahh now you don't want Roy to stay. A few months of Roy will improve the team, Roy will improve morale etc. now all of a sudden you also want Roy to go

Clearly you were re-spouting the wrong peoples sh1t and now they are gone you are changing your tune.

let me reiterate.. no i shall not use long words on you. let me say how it has been for us who have defended Roy. we defend him, because we feel he does not deserve the abuse and ridicule he receives. we never acknowledged that he was the one to bring us forward. we supported him, because like everyone whose new to the job, deserves time. some of course, would prefer to write him off even before he signed the contract. its pretty much common sense but from where you come from, i wouldn't bank on sense being common. but of course if you wish to continue being the imbecile you are and vandalize threads with your remarks in an attempt to be clever, be my guest. you can have the last word  :;):

So are you gonna give time to snoop dogg if he were our manager also?

thought you were getting off ?  :D

The question is my friend... why do we need to give time to and support mediocrity?

Are we gonna say... oh yeah Babel is a Liverpool player, let's give him time. Or are we gonna say Babel is dead wood and get rid?

What's the difference between the way we treat a mediocre player and the way we treat a mediocre manager?

People say that we are Liverpool fans and therefore we should support our manager. But isn't it that Liverpool FC deserves a certain standard and that the majority of Liverpool fans know that the current incumbent is a mediocre manager and therefore not Liverpool standard and therefore should not be given anymore time?

Has this man lost the plot, First of all he has a go at Glen Johnson in the press and now Joe Cole, Surely their are ways and means of doing this and coming from a manager of so much experience (albiet doing f all), The man is a joke and should go now I think he's lost the dressing room after this bit of poor management, Joe is a very liked person within the dressing room.

Quick break from my sabbatical because I am more than just a little incensed with Hodgson's latest idiotic outburst. He now claims that he didn't buy Cole if the reports that I have heard are correct and yet he couldn't contain his delight when Cole was signed and if memory serves Hodgson also claimed that the signing of Cole was one of the key reasons for both Gerrard and Torres staying at Liverpool. Personally I thought that the reason they stayed was more to do with no acceptable offers coming forward but that's another story!

Ffs how do you defend ineptitude !!

I always maintained that we should give RH a chance and show him some courtesy. Yes courtesy - you know good old fashioned manners that is all I ever asked for - I didn't even ask for respect because that rightfully has to be earned but to dismiss Hodgson before a ball was even kicked was downright stupid. The behaviour of some regular forum posters whilst understandably frustrated has been totally childish and tedious. They have successfully regurgitated Hodgson's misgivings time and time again. Only today somebody published another collection of boring stats. We all know that he was not the long term answer. We don't need reminding of the reasons.

Personally I feel that a few months is generally not enough time for somebody to adequately prove themselves. In Hodgson's case however I will make an exception. Unlike Hodgson I pay when I go to watch Liverpool FC and that gives me the right to have an opinion and criticise. I have tried very hard to remain rational and to do things the Liverpool way but can the same be said of Hodgson? It is no longer acceptable for him to simply hide behind the fact that the team he inherited wasn't of fantastic quality or that the club was in a state of boardroom chaos. Both factors  have influenced our failings this season but they are not the only reasons. Having a manager that looks as if he will self combust at any second doesn't help, idiotic and embarrassing comments to the media certainly don't help, publicly criticising key players is a disgrace and not the Liverpool way and just getting the tactics wrong so often are all reasons why we find ourselves in the position we are in and absolutely nothing to do with previous managers or owners.

Now is the time for NESV to take action and remove Hodgson from a position that he is not competent of fulfilling.

Today Roy you successfully lost the support of one more fan - well done! I will not resort to the usual pathetic barrage of childish insults but I would ask you as a lifelong supporter to step down. Consider your family and friends. Do you really need all this aggravation at your time of life?
