I dont honestly think many players will be lining up to join a team thats only looking "to finish in the top half of the table"

Have you by any chance considered working as a professional football scout? I mean it's not like anyone else in the world of english football has even noticed or talked about Nasri this season. You are indeed the first to draw our attention to that particular player but now that you mention him, I suppose you might actually be right (as always). So to answer your question in a word: Yes.

What is your point re Nasri in this thread though? Do you reckon Arsenal are about to offload him and if so have you had a word in Roy's ear about him? Or were you simply once again proving the point that you are in fact always right?

are you benny the moons long lost cousin or something cos he talks like you in  riddles. I agree i should be a scout we would win the treble easily. Im just fedup of posters being negative towards me when at the end of the day its plain jealousy.

I'm the Riddler didn't you know?

If many posters are being negative towards you then perhaps you ought to have a look at your own posts once and a while. Just saying like.

Anyways I look forward to hearing about the next top player you've just discovered for us.

Again a player I have not heard mentioned one single time this season (I guess the media is not that quick to pick up on young english talent :shifty). Luckily you come along and give me this great tip and I shall be off to my bookie in a second putting money on that very bet. Thanks oh mighty oracle.

On topic: It'll be very interesting to see which rumours - if any - come true in january. We've been linked with some very interesting players (Hazard, Barrios and the likes) and some rather uninspiring ones as well (I'm definitely not convinced about flavour of the month Elmander for example). I'm still of the opinion that our main strengthening should take place up front, on the wings and at left back. Further down the line we could also do with another cb and rb I suppose, while I can't really see the great need for a cm atm (which Roy seems to be looking for going by the rumours flying about).

"Charles N'Zogbia has emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool, after Reds officials concluded they are likely to be priced out of the race to sign Ashley Young.
Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is keen to add some creativity to his team in the form of a new winger and had been linked with a January move for Aston Villa's Young.
However, with Spurs and Manchester United both said to be ready to bid for the England international, Villa are likely to demand a fee of around £20 million, putting him beyond Liverpool's reach.According to the Times, the Reds have now turned their attention to N'Zogbia and are monitoring his situation at Wigan Athletic. The France international has indicated he is keen to leave the DW Stadium, even though his proposed move to Birmingham City in August collapsed at the last minute. It is believed the fee agreed for that deal was £9 million - a figure that would put N'Zogbia well within Liverpool's price range. The pacy 24-year-old, who made 18 appearances in Europe during his spell with Newcastle United, would also come with the benefit of not being cup-tied for the Europa League.Hodgson's desire to add a winger to his squad has also seen the Reds linked with January moves for Villarreal's Santi Cazorla and Spurs misfit David Bentley."

Would N'Zogbia be a good signing I wonder?

N'zogbia would be good IMO.

Because he's a skillfull, fast WINGER. Something desperatley need. Not a striker that can play on the wing, not an attacking midfielder pushed wide, a winger.

We are getting linked with Elijiro Elia as well. He looks a good player.
