Benitez does nothing spontaneously. NOTHING. He is analytical and calculated and he knows full well the murder it would cause if he came to a game at Anfield. You people saying "I cant see the harm" are wind ups supreme and know quite well that it would split the fan base wide open. Those that cheered him and sang his name would be directly disrespecting our club and the fans that didnt think the sun shone out of his ar'se.
I am not a violent person by nature but I wouldnt stand for him gloating and revelling in the cheers and adulation that he would no doubt get from those who do not like the current manager. Benitez has shown his true colours on many occasions, not least in his tea milk and sugar rants recently when he felt he was being criticised. He would be totally aware of the trouble he would cause and for me would only be doing it for spite.
I really, really hope he does not turn up and shows us that he does respect the fans and the club by staying away. At least until he dust has settled and nerves arent so raw.
Lets hope John Henry is as clever as he seems and has a quiet word in Signor B's ear...

He is not Liverpool manger anymore the man can do what he wants, FWIW I think he would be welcomed back to attend a game.
What the big deal with this anyway?
Why are people annoyed by this?

Because it's something else to beat Rafa with a stick . I don't think he should go and watch just yet but I think there is a bit of a slight overreaction to the suggestion .
