didn't Rafa tell Houllier to stop turning up at the training ground and stuff?

If over 80% of the first team players are his, yeah why not.

No Fu*king way should he attend a match this season. Or probably next as well
Benitez does nothing spontaneously. NOTHING. He is analytical and calculated and he knows full well the murder it would cause if he came to a game at Anfield. You people saying "I cant see the harm" are wind ups supreme and know quite well that it would split the fan base wide open. Those that cheered him and sang his name would be directly disrespecting our club and the fans that didnt think the sun shone out of his ar'se.
I am not a violent person by nature but I wouldnt stand for him gloating and revelling in the cheers and adulation that he would no doubt get from those who do not like the current manager. Benitez has shown his true colours on many occasions, not least in his tea milk and sugar rants recently when he felt he was being criticised. He would be totally aware of the trouble he would cause and for me would only be doing it for spite.
I really, really hope he does not turn up and shows us that he does respect the fans and the club by staying away. At least until he dust has settled and nerves arent so raw.
Lets hope John Henry is as clever as he seems and has a quiet word in Signor B's ear...

Thats your opinion as one fan , an the way your carrying on about it since i poised the question is soft , so you want our owner nowto have a quiet word an tell him to stay away, Behave its going from one extreme to another now, if he goes or any of his family go the game as a paying fan , heshould be treated the sameway, Shame in it how when them two were here thefans who are now not wanting a man who showed us nothing but repect not here and yet never done it to them , oh we were wrong by a lot on here trying to stop them going in , just makes me laugh

Saint I can tell you feel quite strongly on the matter but you can't sit there and dictate when he can step foot in the stadium like he is fkn banned. The man won things here, and he still lives there. Despite how you feel there are more that probably feel the other way.

As for his rants recently well he was provoked by Roy. Was he meant to just stay silent cameras in his face every 5 mins... none of that would have even happened if Roy had kept his gob shut.

every previous manager can come to a game but not Rafa. I thought this club remembered everyone who served for us...  ???

Thing is he'd be there probably with his wife and maybe even kids. The way Thommo is making it out is like he'd be there with a :censored: Istanbul t shirt on singing ring of fire.

I couldn't care less if he came to the stadium with no clothes on with except for a Man United scarf.

He is not Liverpool manger anymore the man can do what he wants, FWIW I think he would be welcomed back to attend a game.

What the big deal with this anyway?

Why are people annoyed by this?

I dont hate him. Im an adult. He won us the Champions league. It would be childish and silly for me to say I dont want him to come back to Anfield. It would be far more realistic to point out that there are people who hate the current manager rather than try to make out that Im over-reacting.
I would welcome him with open arms sometime in the future. Just not now while people emotions are running high. He knows exactly what effect his presence at a match would have so stop talking sh'ite.
To be more specific:
Nan: he is not just a "paying fan"  and wont be treated the same way and well you know it.
burjennio: if you know anything about Rafa Benitez you will know that he analyses everything and then works out how hes going to proceed
bav: "Despite how you feel there are more that probably feel the other way." which is exactly the reason he shouldnt come here. There will be Fu*king murder mate (and by the way Im not Saint):;):

Because it's something else to beat Rafa with a stick . I don't think he should go and watch just yet but I think there is a bit of a slight overreaction to the suggestion .

Put the matches away please
If you are reffering to me, I am not trying to beat anyone with a stick. I am merely stating what I believe will happen in the current climate if he chooses to come to Anfield any time soon.
He knows it and I know it. Maybe you dont?
