Personally, i couldn't care less how the rest of the league is performing...our team has improved a LOT over the last few weeks and the players seem to understand the new system a lot better too.

our next 6 games are all winable and i'm confident that we'll be in the top 4 before the year is out.  :nod

Hope so - as i said if we transfer our home form - 4 in 4 to our away form then we will easily be up there

We have been poor on the road for a long time now and not just this season. Last year was the same story. I do not disagree this should be improved with a more positive approach but another consideration is we simply dont have enough power and pace in certain areas to be as effective with less posession. Maybe if we can introduce those elements in the window we will be more potent on the counter and improve results away from Anfield.

If we can show the same mentality against other away teams like we did against Spurs then we will get a lot more points .

good point.

We still need another striker and creative winger with the ability to cross the ball. Our biggest downfall at the moment is, if Torres fails to score, and our wide men get pegged back, we struggle to find goals.

I was really impressed with how much pressure the front two and maxi and kuyt applied to the cbs and fbs of villa when they were trying to play it around the back - first half especially .

Thought we played really well against Spurs but the Ref & our finishing let us down, last nite was great to watch, lots of pace & creativity.
Some of that credit has to go too Roy & how he is getting us playing now.    & im not 1 of his biggest fans but credit where  credit is due

the thing is, what you're actually saying is:

Well done for last night! And well done to Rafa for signing those 3... but actually the real credit is due to finally having amanager to get the best out of the signings  :buttrock

things have improved? does someone want to point out where exactly? our away form is absolutely dire and we've only just started picking up at home. Coupled with the fact that Roy's words seem to suggest he doesn't know the club he's managing?

I don't give a sh!t about the teams around us, it's LFC I'm bothered about and from where I'm standing I don't go into any game with confidence, that's not an improvement as far as I'm concerned
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

again, did you see the Spurs game?

We're playing further up the pitch, with more urgency. Roy is starting to get much better results from players who were lagging, hes doing it right and its going the right way

I dunno Daws, everytime we go 1 nil up we seem to sit back and try to play it out. I'm yet to be convinced, things are on the up so I'm content for now. I agree with the Spurs game though, we looked a much better away outfit and hopefully he keeps that approach
