Awesome, just when we thought things couldn't get worse.

Kuyt also injured.

Waiting now for Nando to be out the whole season to complete the wonderful trifecta, seriously why the f**k do players play in "friendlies" anymore, its a f**kin joke. ???

Thing is Gerrard likes playing for his country, something we will have to accept. He just gives 100% all the time.

I notice Ferdinand came off after 45 minutes, obviously the FA didn't want to upset Ferguson, not concerned about upsetting us.

Another terrible international period for us as usual.  We're screwed.
I cant see us winning games without Stevie and Kuyt.  Unless Meirles and Cole etc really step up.

And I think Cole is available.

Meireles sitting deep (with Lucas? not sure if his ban is in effect yet) and Cole off Torres.

We really could do with Aquilani right now! Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Anyway step up Jonjo or Jay and put Meireles in CM. And if need Poulsen in CM although i don't think he can cut it in this league.

Just gives Hodgson another excuse if we fail to break down West Ham at the weekend. Is Torres fit?

funny, someone else bringing up Roy in another thread!

Torres possibly injured, Stevie not definately out yet is he? No one knows yet, especially whether or not the manager will say anything or not as an excuse, which should go in the Roy thread?

I think theyve got a point mate
Its pretty obvious now that the fates are working against Roy so its only right that his role in all of this should be highlighted. This is obviously another reason why he shouldnt be our manager. Do you believe all these injuries would have happened before Hodgosn came along? Of course not. He is not only "out of his depth" he is a jinx and a sh'ithouse for not telling Don Cappello to fu'ck off. These players would never have suffered injuries with any other manager in charge!
