Mourinho deployed him there at various stages last season with a great deal of success (Chelsea away for example), so maybe it isn't such a silly idea. It is more of a 4-3-3 - is it not? - with Stankociv and Cambiassio holding and Eto'o and the other bloke (Pandev?) breaking when they're on the attack. They have enough strength at the core and the pace/transitional ability in attack for that to be effective.
The subbing of Milito in almost all of their games so far is an area of concern worth keeping an eye on as the season progresses, but overall Inter had a very steady start to the season, and guess who they play next.
ye spurs and i hope crouch and keane start up front and score a hat-trick each and pay rafa back for how he treated them both!
