Anyway shall we move back onto the topic .

Inter and Rafa will learn from last nights game and he will imo have the upper hand on them next time and IMO they will win the Serie A but not the CL - think they will reach Quarters or Semis but cant see anyone beating Barce.

Where have i heard that line before

Anyways despite obviously having the best squad in the league by a mile, I still think they'll struggle to dominate as they did in previous seasons...

If anything, at the rate the other so called big sides in Italy are dropping points, you'd have to say that it would take some doing for Inter to miss out on winning it again..

Very good goal it was. Brighi crossed to Vucinic who made a run into the box and dive-headed it into the far corner of the net. In the last 20 min's Eto'o squandered several good chances to win it for Inter and they are obviously a much better team compared to Roma - what Chelsea are to Spurs. They certainly have the squad to win the league by more than the two point margin Mourinho managed.

Yes I agree with that. They seemed to be cruising it and then in the last couple of months of the season it was almost as if Mourinho took his eyes off the ball and let everyone catch up. Almost like there was something distracting him, taking his focus away. I shouldn't think Rafa will have the same problem.

I should think so too if he's be gone before Christmas.

It would be a humiliation for Benitez if they lose the league considering they've won it 5 times in a row with other managers.

You talk about Roy probably being a victim of the circumstances, well Rafa was a victim of the circumstances. Circumstances in which he was not allowed to take the team forward due to a pair of greedy owners who were making life harder and harder for him with each month that went by.

Finishing 7th, forcing a world class player like Alonso out (to part finance Gareth Barry) and then blowintg 38m on a krap full back that cannot defend and an injury prone midfielder isnt' enought to get  a man the sack?

If Rafa wins any trophy with Inter, he has won major trophies in the top 3 leagues in world football.  Fact.

Rafa got sacked by a man that knows nothing about football, a man that hired a manager with a completly different philosophy than Rafa but no funds to sign players to suit him.  Well in Christian.

Beating West Ham on penalties to win the FA cup isn't a great achievement.

It is.  We won a trophy. The trophy was presented to the achieving team.

The man won domestic and European competitions for both Liverpool and Valenica.  (despite having less funds than other teams in the respective leagues).

Now he has to chance to win major silerware with Inter.

Easily one of the top managers in world football.  By the way, why is winning the FA Cup not a great achievement?
