"Milito unhappy under Rafa Benitez"
The agent of Inter Milan striker Diego Milito says the player is not happy with new coach Rafael Benitez.
Benitez arrived at the San Siro after Jose Mourinho left to join Real Madrid in the summer.
The European champions have endured a slow start to the campaign and Milito, one of the reasons behind the club's treble success last year, has seemed strangely subdued.
It is all down to Benitez's approach, according to agent Fernando Hidalgo.
In comments quoted by Il Corriere dello Sport, he said: "Diego doesn't feel the trust from his new coach.
"The Portuguese [Mourinho] made him feel indispensable. He made him feel secure and he would transmit tranquility.
"These things don't happen now. In fact he is always under scrutiny. And when it's time for a player to come off it's always Milito.
"Diego is not tranquil, but being a professional he knows these things can happen," added the agent.
"He wants to come out of this fast even though he doesn't feel the trust he had last season.
"Someone like Milito needs the support from his coach to be at his best."
These revelations will be disturbing for the supporters as the club seeks to revisit last season's roaring success.
