How did they do this weekend ?

They won their last match 2-1 against Palermo.
So far, they're second in Serie A after only 3 games.  2 wins and a draw.
I believe they're playing Bari next at the San Siro then they have 2 tough ties against Roma and juve.

They also won the Italian SuperCup in pre season.

The lost the european super cup though  :rasp

there's been some talk of unrest at inter...

"Milito unhappy under Rafa Benitez"
The agent of Inter Milan striker Diego Milito says the player is not happy with new coach Rafael Benitez.

Benitez arrived at the San Siro after Jose Mourinho left to join Real Madrid in the summer.

The European champions have endured a slow start to the campaign and Milito, one of the reasons behind the club's treble success last year, has seemed strangely subdued.

It is all down to Benitez's approach, according to agent Fernando Hidalgo.

In comments quoted by Il Corriere dello Sport, he said: "Diego doesn't feel the trust from his new coach.

"The Portuguese [Mourinho] made him feel indispensable. He made him feel secure and he would transmit tranquility.

"These things don't happen now. In fact he is always under scrutiny. And when it's time for a player to come off it's always Milito.

"Diego is not tranquil, but being a professional he knows these things can happen," added the agent.

"He wants to come out of this fast even though he doesn't feel the trust he had last season.

"Someone like Milito needs the support from his coach to be at his best."

These revelations will be disturbing for the supporters as the club seeks to revisit last season's roaring success.

id say unrest with Milito, not Inter.  We're having the same situation with Agger at the moment.

Inter Milan manager Rafael Benitez has launched an attack on the hierarchy at former club Liverpool.
Benitez had a strained relationship with the boardroom at Anfield and left in the summer to join the Italian club.
"The last year at Liverpool I had directors who knew nothing about soccer and you couldn't talk about soccer with them," the 50-year-old Spaniard said.
"My relationship with [Inter Milan] president Massimo Moratti is good, he is a man who knows his soccer."
Benitez took over at Liverpool in June 2004 and led them to Champions League glory in 2005 and an FA Cup victory in 2006.
But the Premier League title eluded him and he could only lead the Reds to seventh in the top flight last season, meaning that they missed out on a lucrative place in the Champions League.
By the end of his tenure in June, Benitez appeared to have become frustrated at the lack of funds to bring in players with the club heavily in debt under the co-ownership of Tom Hicks and George Gillett.

I agree, to me that's just comments from someone that is not in the team at the moment and is not happy about it.

What Purslow knew nothing about football ? surely Rafael  jests the man is steeped in the very knowledge it takes to procure a manager and players that in turn will be capable of taking us to the next level ...just ask Dalglish

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
