Mind yourself, Lando. This will be your only warning.
We should be able to give our opinions without resorting to insults.

Ola Mr Benitez wrote:Konchesky is a good buy Imo. We suffered last year and so far this tear due to our left back not being good enough. Konchesky is a solid defender who will close this route far more than Insua who got raped every Sat last season and also do a better job than Agger. How some people thought he would be the answer to our LB is beyond me. He is a superb CB but never a full back in a million years.

What about Voronin, Morientes, Pennant, Diouf, Dossena, Riera, Lucas, and N'Gog to name a few? We've had to settle for second/third rate players like them already and I would say Konchesky and Cole are of better quality than that lot.
How many of them have come and have been sold on at either a profit or no loss at all? How much did we sign N'gog for? How much is he worth now? Didn't we make a profit on Voronin, whom we bought for nought? More or less got the money back from Dossena, and the only one I can see on that list that was a massive dud is Diouf. Gobsh*te of a player, bought for over 10 mill, and sold at a massive loss.
The difference between those players and the ones we are signing is that the ones we are now siging are a known quantity. We see them play week-in-week-out in the Prem, and they are wooden ones to put it lightly. The others were signed as potential prospects (bar Voronin) and still sold on for profit. Can you see us selling these on at a profit? No. We're signing driftwood now. We are selling quality and potential and replacing it with mediocricy. Not Roy's fault. You know who's fault it is.
You mate are a moaner and if you think half of the sh!te your trying to defend there are better than the ones coming in now then i am seriously amazed.
It doesnt matter that Voronin came for free, he was garbage and should never have been signed.
Carlton Cole is in a different league to Voronin and Ngog.
The previous managers left backs hardly set the world alight.
7 million on Dossena![]()
I would rather Konchesky all day, and by the way did we sh!te more or less get the money back on Dossena.

We can afford a few players or we can afford one good quality signing. I reckon we're doing the right thing and adding some stability to the squad. As soon as/if we get investment then i am sure Roy will go after players with more quality. What people have to realise is that we are no longer a top four team, but we must work to get back there. Tottenham were in the top four last season and they were there on merit. We may be one of the biggest clubs on the planet BUT the club needs to work, be smart, take time and not make any more stupid mistakes if we want to get back where we belong.
I'm really happy with what Hodge has done so far. He is the right man for the job.
When Rafa opted to add stability to the squad, he was verbally raped at every turn for "squandering" massive amounts of money on squad players instead of getting "1 World Class player".
Odd, then, that Hodgson is the right man for the job when he is very obviously adopting the same approach as the previous incumbent.
"Stability"?

Rafas revolving door policy was far from stable
Bit like his mind at the end to be honest...
Be quiet, you silly person. Revolving door policy with a similar amount of comings and goings as Man Scum?
Grow up, you ball bag. Rafa's gone - you've got your wish. Well done for craving mediocrity. (But then, as long as it's ENGLISH mediocrity, it's better than a fat Spanish waiter getting us to the pinnacle of club football, ain't it?)
Dickhead.
