It was Benitez from last season approaching Cole to come... Combined with the evil plan of Purslows to run the club down financially and football wise by signing a risky player on huge wages ..

You see Mick, my take on it (and you gotta respect my opinion and all that remember) is that with Rafa gone, we have no one to fight for us inside the club... You have a manager who doesnt mind bringing in risky overpaid players like Joe Cole while letting talent like Insua go away for peanuts (5mill is nothing money but a free is not a free you see, its actually 19mill in disguise)... We also have a director of football whose sole purpose in life is to sign sht players for us and sell our best players (SOON, YOU WAIT AND SEE!!) ..

And in them two posts lies why there are arguments , you both have called for them to stop , and yet here you both are ridiculing someones opinion, You either want all the snidy comments to stop on both parts or do you just wanna be the only ones doing it, Yous all called for it lads and now yopus just cant help yourselves havin a dig again  Sad really
