Matt le Tissier. Brilliant player, possibly had the best technique in the world.

Ronald Koeman. Wonderful defender and by christ could he hit a ball.

Denis Bergkamp. Wonderful technique and he could score goals.

Thierry Henry. Is there a better striker this generation?

Favourite players are always our own, but we can always wish other players were part of our family.  Another favourite of mine was a bulgarian defender called Trifon Ivanov. He was brilliant, he could whack a ball like a bullet from the half way line and it would fly over the crossbar !

Some of my favourite players:

Roberto Baggio - as stated above
Gabriel Batistuta - to me the best out and out striker in his generation
Paulo Maldini - the best defender of his generation...

So what ? Our own Ronnie Rosenthal could accomplish the same feat from a much more difficult position, inside the six yard box.   :D

I still love Emlyn Hughes.

He played with a smile, as would I.

i see the club is doing another one of those`100 players who shook the kop` straw poll`s.
the last one was awful tbh, robbie fowler and jamie carragher have been excellent servants to the club but they shouldnt be anywhere near the top 10 and how the hell was jan molby at 16 when terry mcdermott was at 38 and steve mcmahon 42!
jimmy case, a member of our greatest ever midfield and a 3 time european cup winner was at 45 but davey fairclough, who struggled to get into the side, was at 18?
work that one out!
i would have hoped liverpool fans knew their history better than that.
