Your favourite lfc player ever?

I thought this has been covered in another thread.
My all time favourite is Graeme Souness because he is a great player - midfield general supreme, good at tackling, passing, can shoot with either feet with great accuracy and great captain. All time great has to be King Kenny and he is a close second to Souness as an all time fav of mine.
Another player worth mentioning is Ronnie Whelan. May not have Gerrard's dynamism but he shielded the defenders very well and has an eye for goals (who says defensive midfielders have to be cr@p at scoring?), has a fantastic League Cup final record and very underrated and the unsung hero of so many of Liverpool's trophy wins. Liverpool haven't had a replacement like him since.
