Franz Beckhaumbauer- maybe i can't spell his name, but i find it easier to admire a play, if he plays the same way as yourself, therefor i choos him :p

Ian Rush for sure. I enjoyed seeing him score goal after goal for us. He had bags of energy and enthusiasm and was a joy to watch

After him it would be Robbie Fowler (they both seemed to have a genuine love for the club and a real connection to the spirit of LFC), then Dalglish.

Steve Gerrard, definitely the best I've seen with liverpool, otherwise Steve Finnan (cos he's from my hometown), John Arne Riise and Didi Hamann. Outside the club I'd go with Kaka and Ronaldo (brazilian obviously)

As a kid, it was Barnes who spellbound me, and him I remember most of all from those years. Of the current players, I guess it is Carragher, but I've always had a soft spot for lil' Luis Garcia.

Outside of Liverpool, del Piero - a one club man.

Watching Molby pick out 70 yrd passes with unerring accuracy was a thing of beauty ,never have I ever
seen anyone that comes close to that level of genius ....

Then there's  Dalglish who had everything ,strength ,power ,elegance, vision and at that time was definitely
up alongside the very finest players in world football .

Emlyn Hughes for me personified the passion of playing for LFC ,the man was relentless in our midfield .

Steven Gerrard at his irrepressible best was a force of nature ...and no player will ever hope to score a goal
of such unadulterated brilliance as the one he smashed exquisitely with the fire power of a stray  Exocet
missile against the Hammers .

Mark Lawrenson has to be one of the best and most gifted defenders I have ever had the pleasure of
watching in all my years as a Kopite .

Has to be Stevie G for me.  He's the reason I became a Liverpool fan in the first place, just watching him play blew my mind.
