Re Gerrard I think he should be on the bench, but I do think he should travel. If indeed he starts (and it looks like it) I hope we're able to take him off at some earlyish point in the second half and replace him with AA or perhaps even give Pacheco the chance.

That's unfortunate if Gerrard does start, I don't think he links up well with Dirk and Aquilani was just starting to find himself. Ah Rafa Rafa Rafa.

It would seem so regarding Degen out wide, and tbh he played ok in that position against Spurs imo.
