I'd have him on the bench, there are SEVEN substitutes to choose from and it could give the team and fans a much needed lift, make the players on the pitch up their game fearing he will replace them, striker the fear of Robbie into Wolves fearing he could come on and in the event we might get a few goals clear he could have a gentle run out.

I'd rather see Gerrard on the bench and stay there than have three defenders on the bench - especially against a side like Wolves. Should be GK, CB, FB, WG, CM, CF, CF - or something like that, certainly shouldn't need three defensive minded outfield players against a side we should be looking to beat

Reina

Caragher                Agger             Krygiakos             Aurelio

                           Masch             Lucas

Maxi                                Aquilani                          Riera

                                      Kuyt

I think it will be a 1-1 , lucas and doyle for them , from another corner

I think Gerrard will start and will go off like a train. I am still to be convinced that the injury was a genuine one and he didn't actually have a war of words with Sammy and Rafa at half time in the Reading game.

2-1 Liverpool - Kuyt and Ngog.

This game is a great opportunity for the team to step up and show they are determined to succeed between now and the end of the season. Wolves have a pretty poor team and it could be the chance to build confidence and for some of our forwards to get goals. It is looking like a big battle ahead to get in the Premier League top four and this is the type of game we need to be winning comfortably if we want to get in there.

rafa showing faith in the same team then? i'd start with aqualani instead of gerrard. bench gerrard then bring him on later.

should beat this wolves team though, 0 - 4 (Gerrard 2, kuyt, lucas)

The lads not always right so you never know.
I was surprised to see Gerrard starting as well.

Agree with this. I would be happy to see the same team starting as against Spurs, even though this will be a completely different type of game. We SHOULD really win this!

molineux is a massive wide pitch. i'd expect riera to be extremely influential in this game.

Stick with the same starting 11 and bench that beat Tottenham. Gerrard can come off the bench against Bolton on the weekend and if he plays well he can start against Everton the following weekend. How many times has Gerrard “returned to training earlier than expected” and then aggravated the injury in a match? In any case, what has he done anything recently to warrant walking straight back into a team that just won 2-0 against one of our top four rivals?

We haven’t played since Wednesday while Wolves had an FA Cup game on Saturday so all the players should be fresh. The last 2 games have been much better, we have looked more organised and resolute so I think we should stick with the same team.

                         Reina

Carragher     Skrtel     Kyrgiakos     Insua

                   Masch    Lucas

            Degen   Aquilani   Riera

                          Kuyt

Subs: Ngog, Pacheco, Babel, Rodriguez, Spearing, Darby, Cavalieri
