Liverpool Football Club - Games

soooo lucky not be sent off for that crazy reaction to being caught late by Williamson.

We are absolutely cack btw. If Swansea could find the goals to match their play we'd be embarrassed here.

same old story. Midfield is cr@p and strikers forced deep to get the ball, hence our formation is 4-6-0.  :no

Henderson and Shelvey are being hung out to dry by Maxi and Downing, getting no support at all.

Handbags!!!!

at least shelvey looks to go forward any chance he gets.
maxi, downing and to an extent henderson are pure deadwood.

Been dominated again. Had better be the last we see of Shelvey-Henderson midfield.

Lucas and a top new signing must line up there come August otherwise next season will be as shocking as this one.

you wouldn't know Maxi was on the pitch, without looking at the team sheet.

I think Andy is very lucky that this is last game of the season

A couple of nice saves from Doni have saves us the blushes but kudos to Swansea they certainly came up from a lower league with right attitude.

Though hopefully we have reversal of fortunes and score against the grain. It happens to us a couple of times at Anfield this season

Thats the problem playing with carra...the whole team can't really play their normal game as they have to play deeper to offset carra's lack of pace.

why isn't coates playing ? Aren't we building for the future ?  :Oo:

and Sterling...instead we're playing Carra and Maxi, both of whom are past their best.

This is frustrating. But I feel made up in my mind about Henderson - I don't think he's going to make it at Liverpool. His problem is that he's just average. He never misplaces passes but that's all that he does. I've not seen a single cutting pass from him, any pass with any vision at all. Besides that, the major worry is that we can't create space for himself. That's what good midfielders can do. Run through gaps a little, find space, pick out an incisive pass, unfortunately, I don't see him doing that - ever.

Shelvey does all these things, and is worth holding on to. Downing is an ok player, fair enough sub, and imo can do better with a better midfield. If the center learns to create space and move up, everyone moves up including strikers and wingers. Maxi obviously will be replaced. We need some clever midfield player, someone with true quality, not a work in progress.
