In all fairness its impossible to be able to call that in a split second. Unfortunately it didn’t go our way. The game needs technology to help referees, thats all we can say.

Yeah but still, a bad call here a bad call there and we end up bottom table. It has happened far too often this season. If this goal and the goal against Everton were allowed as they should have been, we would've been fifth and all of a sudden we would be in the fight for the Champions League spot. Also, these aren't the only bad ref decisions this season, there have been a handful of them, most notably against the scum.

Compared to couple of other games this season I dont have much to complain about the ref's or linesmens decision in yesterday's match

In fact we were probably lucky that Agger's mistimed aerial challenge wasnt deemed a penalty

Downing and Henderson were given chances yesterday to prove themselves. Henderson didnt play too bad but Downing was atrocious. He must have lost the ball atleast 10 times. Was non existant in the second half and really isnt showing the manager or fans that he is worthy of playing for Liverpool fc.

I got a feeling we will see a few changes made against Spurs. Would like to see Assaidi and Sahin come back in. Although Sahin hasnt really set the place on fire he seems to have a fantastic pass on him.

Hopefully Gerrard can start performing a little better because if it was Henderson Cole or Downing who made the mistake he has made recently they wouldnt be forgiven so easily.

Downing looked like the proverbial "Rabbit caught in the headlights" Actually looked like he really didn't want to be on the pitch.

Never wanted the ball and when he did get it played the easy 5 yard pass at every opportunity.

Disgraceful .

I thought we played some very good stuff at times. Enrique,Johnson,Sterling and Suarez were all excellent. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the midfield. Gerrard, Henderson and Allen were very very average and contributed nothing exceptional to the game. Downing was what we have come to expect of Downing and I cannot see him being at Liverpool for very much longer. Cole simply is not up to the job and to think he gets £100k a week makes my fkg blood boil. So it was a case of the VERY GOOD, THE NEARLY BAD AND THE DOWNRIGHT FKG UGLY !!

Suarez - push when he scored against Chelsea; 2 rash challenges that could have been reds etc.

Just saying that we've had a bit of good luck recently as well. Suarez's goal should have been disallowed, and he could have had a yellow or even a red for a couple of recent challenges and been banned.

Sterling and Suarez looked tired yesterday.  They need a rest but we can't give them one.

We hit the bar, had a goal disallowed and missed several other chances (Johnson one on one, Suarez at the death), so again, same old story.

BR will have to change things on Wednesday, but I can't see him dropping Suarez or Sterling.  It will be a huge call to "rest" Gerrard, but he's going to have to at some point soon.

There is no way Suarez will get to Jan without another yellow so at some point someone else is going to have to play upfront.

I can forgive the linesman for calling Enrique off.  It looked offside to me first time I saw it and even looks off on a couple of the replays I've seen.  It's not one I would be crying over.

It's not in the same league as the Suarez winner at Everton or Valencia's 'penalty' at Anfield.  They truly were joke decisions.

I agree that yesterdays disallowed goal was a tough one to call an dwasn't as bad as other that have gone beforebut what ever happened to the benefit of the doubt going with the attacker??
Has this rule been changed on the quiet or is it more a case of too many of the linesman shitting out of making the BIG call of giving a doubtful goal?

I thought the striker was supposed to be given the benefit of the doubt so it is beyond me how it was called offside.
