its the bloody players that are at fault and it does not matter who the next manager is as they are stuck with the same underperforming,average dross.
a new manager is not going to get any more out of them than kenny could.
bunch of spineless overpaid useless lot that are not good enough to play for liverpool regardless of who's pulling the strings in the managers seat.
only 3 or so of our players can hold their heads up with pride after that shambles of a season.

Hopefully FSG see it that way too and gut half the team because I look around and can probably count on 1 hand the players that are good enough for a top 4 finish.

Probably gonna get slaughtered for saying this, but we need a change in manager. Look at newcastle, look at arsenal, they all have players that are only as good as our lot (if not worse) and they competed for the champions league spots this season, for christs sake even utd's team isn't that far ahead of us in terms of talent, which leads to one conclusion, kenny can't organise or motivate this group of players. And I hope for there own sake fsg start at the top of the management tree and work down, we need a mourinho, hiddink, ancelotti, not settling for another hodgson

In midfield, you can't justify playing downing all year, you can't justify giving henderson all those starts, I know he's young and he will come good eventually, but he needed to see a lot more of the bench this year. We never had cover for lucas this season, an absolute shambles considering rafa had 4 (sissoko, masch, alonso, lucas) for that one position only a few years back. Kuyt and maxi should have started much more, and now it looks like we'll lose both of them.

Up front, we need a 20 goal striker, simple as. We can't wait another year for andy carroll. It's not a very an unlikely situation that he only scores 1-5 goals between august and christmas next season, by which time it would be too late to recover. I'll say it again, we need to sign a striker now, not january 2013, when carrolls shown he's not good enough.

Sign a winger, sign a striker, sign cover for lucas, it ain't f*ckin rocket science
