Next league game away at Villa - going to be a tough game against a buoyant Villa. Benteke is going to give the back 4 a good test. Team I expect will be the same as last weekend

benteke gave us all sorts of problems home and away last season, he scored a couple last week against arsenal (and a fair few in pre season) so it looks like he`s no one season wonder so our defenders will have to be on their toes.
i think we will create chances ourselves though so this game could come down to which ever side takes their chances takes the 3 points.
could end up quite a high scoring game this one.
with united looming on the horizon we could do with the 3 points just in case united get a dodgy pen or we get someone sent off or both, which is what happened at anfield last season.

I would go with the same lineup as last week and we should have enough, minus Benteke Villa are awful so we just need to keep him under wraps and keep on Agbonlohors surging runs. Ill go for a 2-1 to the reds as Couthino and Sturridge are both looking great right now

Sh*t Benteke's sharp. Just scored a cracking goal against Chelsea.... Maybe we should put in a bid

If we give him the least bit of space anywhere near our 18-yard box, we're *****. The guy's lethal. He'll be worth a lot more than the 25m Villa asked for him in the next transfer window if he keeps this up, and I believe that he will.

We couldn't handle the physical side of Stoke, and Benteke is gonna be the same. I worry he'll do to us again what happened last season. Villa are actually looking good... 2-1 away to chelsea is not a bad result. Not so sure how this one's gonna go.

And Villa were unlucky not to snatch a late equaliser. However I think we are better team than when we got beaten 3-1 at home by Villa last December. Also don't forget we beat them 2-1 away in March. Not going to be easy but I'm reasonably confident that we can get the three points.

Villa is usually a happy hunting ground for us - let's keep the status quo.

Agbonlahor for me has been excellent for them since last season. I know Benteke gets all the headlines (and he deserves them), but Agbonlahor has adjusted his game brilliantly to their new system and the work he does at both ends of the pitch is a main reason behind their survival last season and the good (at least in terms of performances) start they're having to this campaign.

gonna be a really tough game. it all boils down to how well we defend really. i think we'll have enough going forward to create chances at will.

cant see our defence stopping benteke scoring tbh, i think we may have to rely on our forwards scoring more than theirs.
to be fair to villa they have had a terrible start in terms of fixtures, by saturday evening they will have played arsenal (away), chelsea (away) and liverpool (home) within the space of 7 days.

Its games such as these that the reds really need to put down a marker ,a good positive result at Villa would really get our season
under way and keep our confidence buzzing. I personally don't think Lambert's men look particularly fluent in midfield,so if we're
solid enough in that department we could push Villa onto the back foot for large parts of the game.

1-3 one to the red men  .......maybe Toure will finally get the goal his application thus far deserves ?

and for this season I'm hoping they're more tired than us so a result is ours for the taking

Us at Villa Park usually offers a drab affair.
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Hope Villa will be tired after losing a close one to Chelsea last night.

I think whoever scores first in this game is going to take it.
