Liverpool Football Club - Games

Must say both Gakpo and Gravenberch are not doing their chances of more play time any good, especially in games like this

The call for Jota to come on is getting louder

Some of these free kicks have become so fickle, the meerest touch. Football is morphing into ballet.

Job done Wembley here we come...but not very convincing performance considering our dominance for much of the game

I'd consider it a good result, given our weakened line up.

But as some have said, Gakpo and Gravenberch were poor.

Into the final, another against Chelsea, going to be tough as Poch is desperate for a trophy in England.

That had the potential to be a bad day at the office but we handled it pretty well all things considered.
In every round we’ve kopped for a premier league team so we certainly haven’t had it easy.
Well done to the staff and players.

We dominated the first half, we time wasted, we kicked it back and forth - instead of putting the game to bed.

We have to learn to kill games when we're dominating. The pressure in the last 20 minutes was all our own making.

Back 4 were outstanding again, Gomez and Bradley in particular but the two centrebacks were also rock solid. Robbo has a fight on his hands to get his place back and the Greek must be worried...

Honestly surprised by the lack of passion in this game. I really expected more of a fight from Fulham.  Don't think they ever made us truly uncomfortable and we really should have expoited them more than we did.

Anyways it's "Hey Ho ! off to Wembley we Go"  :buttrock
