We did well to come back from 1 down particularly when their goal was a gift from VAR.
With City, Chelsea and United all dropping points today it was absolutely crucial that we won, with a bit of luck Everton will do the same and drop points against Southampton tomorrow.
Great to see Alisson between the sticks again as well, we just need to get Thiago back now.

It was hard work out there tonight but in the end we got the right result. If ever we needed a player like Thiago then its in those types of games so hopefully he's not far off. Delighted to see Ali back as well.

That VAR just keeps getting worse and worse. They said it didn't give the penalty and just ruled that it was on the line so essentially in the box and Dean upgraded it. Why didnt they look at the tackle and say it wasn't even a free to begin with. Dean didn't have the advantage of the replays and he was at an angle that made it look like he fouled him. Thats what VAR is or should be there for. Even this rubbish where play carries on even if the attacking player is clearly offside, what happens if its 20 seconds later and a player gets injured in that time. What is the benefit of this to anyone? Let the lino do his job and stop meddling with the rules because its ruining the game.

Hard work and we got through. A couple of seasons ago we would not have got that result. VAR was designed to improve the game and it hasn’t. I didn’t even celebrate when Diogo scored because you never know.

Watched the full re-run of the match.

Just glad I didn't pay sky box office to watch this one !

Can't believe how many chances we gave Sheffield ! Against a side with better finishing we could have been seriously embarrassed, again !

Despite all our possession far too many times it looked as though Sheffield Utd were the more likely to score.

We got the three points, I guess right now that's all that counts.
