Harvey Elliott coming on now...with 5 secs to go.

17 games win streak, 365 days undefeated...take that City and Leicester

Total control, amazing game control, the confidence in the team is sky high! It would remind you of 87-88.

Agree, thought they were full of beans and had recovered well from the travel. Much more so than against Wolves.

Tbh how many drop points would you have accepted before the start of our busy Nov/Dec/Jan schedules to consider it as acceptable good results? Except for the Mickey Mouse Cup which forced us to field a youth team, we won every fucking one of it. Must be disheartening for the chasing packs eh?  :buttrock  :bowdown

Couple of right smart ar.ses here tonight....
I thought Virg looked tired - very few forward raking passes we know he's capable of. Ditto Henderson - he can put a long pass on a sixpence lately, tonight there was far less of that and particularly against an opposition as good as SHU have been this season.
Mané looked whacked when he came off, not just because of the running he did tonight.
Robertson - a few stray passes at the end and I don't think he strolled back to the dugout just to milk the applause. He looked knackered.
Bobby - not a great game, again I think he needs a rest.
Here endeth the sermon.

Klopp will shake up the team for the FA cup at Anfield. We played very well, but some of the guys do look tired. And my biggest worry is VVD and Robertson. Both are vital to our set-up.

Onwards and upwards  :buttrock  :buttrock

Another solid performance and important 3 points.
It was around this time last year when we had a wobble which ended up costing us the title so it's vital that we don't show any sign of weakness or give our rivals any hope.

Yeah, I expect Klopp to sacrifice the cup and play an entirely different team from today against Everton. That way most of our main players will get a week and half rest before the Spurs game. Not ideal but it's the most sensible thing to do.

I love the FA Cup and I hate losing derbies but it wouldn't bother me if we put out the same team against Everton that we did against Villa in the League Cup.

After Sunday we will have a match a week for a while so we can rest up nicely. We have come out unscathed so far and may it long continue. I don’t think we will go a whole season undefeated so I am not going to pin my hopes on that, too many things could happen and looking at the schedule there are tough matches to come. I love the fact that teams will start rolling over for us like they did against ManUre, City and Chelsea in their era. Apparently we made more passes than any other team in the history of the premier league so those saying we looked leggy May want to rethink that.

Good Game, too many tired legs, however, 3 points what is all matter, Mane and Gomez were excellent.

Three tough games are coming up apart from the FA cup if we get positive results from it, we are in for the home straight God willing.

Good Luck Lads
