I have doubts whether Johnson has the ability to deliver a cross well or beat his man.

I know he did mate..... but a single swallow does not a summer make...

Maybe me memory's going mate but I remember more of his crosses going awry or hitting the 1st defender.

Johnson's an instinctive sort of player.... he does well when he doesn't have to think about it too much..... given time and deliberation he doesn't do so well....

Still, you never know.

With Gerrard in top form it makes sense the closer he can play to Torres the better.  It may rub off on him!!

I worry about our full backs today though.  Carra vs Cole is scary, and Konchesky vs anyone is a cause for concern.

Maybe playing Johnson at RM is done with Cole in mind?

I have no idea how today is going to go, I'm just hoping for the best, and a decent showing.

Johnson mustn't be fit? ? Odd for Roy to play Kelly at RB against Chelsea when he hasn't trusted him to do so versus Bolton or Blackburn.

No Greek today, arguably (Gerrard aside) our most in form player of late.  I would presume this is with Drogba/Anelka in mind and their pace.

agreed, can only assume we were thinking of malouda's pace against carra at RB, therefore he moves centrally adn Skrtel stays for whatever reason
