Liverpool V Basel CL - 9th Dec 2014 7.45pm KO

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby algymoon » Tue Dec 09, 2014 4:06 pm

It is a massive game, make or break LFC season which it will bring financial gain to the club, it is a must win
game. However on last game showing I am not buliding my hope too much.
I just can't see where the goals are coming from!, it is for sure not from Lucas (best LFC player so far, BR was forced to bring him into the side, otherwise he did't want to) or the useless Allen!

I sincerely so much hope we can win tonight!.. I think BR days in charge are numbered, and I think he will sacked by coming Monday after the scum's game which I think we will not get much change out of that game.
It has been almost five months in this season, and you really can not see a little improvement in team's performances, apart from the one odd game here and there, but overall it is 85% below last season's performances disregards the loss of two top strikers!
BR (as some people do claim he is a king) ought to have done his home work for this season, his buys are below average
apart from E.Can and Lallana, well as for "Markovic" I am quite puzzled by him, he is  a top player in Europe last season, but since he become LFC he is so shy of the ball, it is most probably down to BR's tactics which it has turned him to a donkey!.
God help us tonight.

As negative as the line up looks you just don't know what you will get from us until we take to the field.  The setting is there for the game of the season if we can muster up a performance.
The onus is on us to take the game to them seeing as we are at home and its us who needs the win so i hope we do that rather than get everybody behind the ball and hope we can nick it.

I think we should do ok today. Basle are a decent team but not that good. We just have a habit of making them look good. Anfield will be buzzing and I reckon that should carry us to victory.
I think 3-1 and Rodgers, Master of Spin Doctoring will breathe easier for awhile and paint us a pretty picture about how adequately awesome our performance was.

No goal scorer will usually lead to no goals which we have found against

Hull,Newcastle,Sunderland,Aston villa none of which are good sides

We only scored once v palace,Stoke and west ham

I think the fact that the maority of fans arent sure which way this one will go shows which situation we are in.

Can i see us scoring ? Depending on the way we go about the game maybe but no more than once

Sturridge is looking a better play every game he misses

I said 3-1, but youch...looking at the line up I'm not sure where the goals will come from unless Sterling or Lambert have a stormer. I'd guess Gerrard will play further forwards so he could get a goal or two. But overall that's a really slow line up. I thought BR might go all out attack tonight, but looks like he wants a 1-0.

TBH Red ant there isnt much else we could do. Maybe start markovic instead of one of the CMs but i feel thats BRs plan if we dont score inthe first half

We have two fit strikers in Lambert and Borini

This lineup is fitting our exiting from the CL today...Hope I'm wrong but BR has officially turned into a nightmare.
With that said lets smash Basel!
